[wip] Both alt streetwear specialists, the two cats have a healthy respect for each other and Levi meets up with Neo whenever he gets the chance around his busy schedule. You'd swear they argue more than they collaborate, but they just have similar dispositions and speak with the same cranky, blunt language.
Levi is a truthful acquaintance.
Even tho Neo refuses to officially collaborate with Urban Fabrics Co., both cats sometime hang out outside of work to talk (or gossip) about the fashion industry, their latest projects or more personal matter.
They first saw eachother at a catwalk event. When they met, Neo wasn’t impressed by the cat’s charismatic demeanor, so it surprised him when a less eccentric Levi came to talk to him after the event.
"He's a rough case." Neo scratches his head absent-mindedly. "Admittedly, a little out of my wheelhouse; I- I'm not versed in corruption, just curses. And gifts. But maybe it's..." he trails off, and waves a paw. "either way, he's responding well to treatment, and he's opened up a little. I think. He doesn't strike me as a particularly friendly guy even on a good day." ☆
Neo has somewhat inadvertently taken over Suilius' therapy, finding that his naturally-sourced magic remedies have had a better effect than his first solution with Beryl. He can't help but feel a little nervous around Suilius' authoritative air, though...
After their corruption, Trust is hard to come by. Maybe it was desperation instead that drove them to ask for Neo's help the first time. Though what lead them to stay might be a different story. "He's quiet enough, bloody competent with his brewing." Deep down they knows Neo's treatments won't *cure* him, it's corruption, not the common mold, yet... they find themselves meeting back up with him every time... "With enough scientific method he might find a way to properly sleep." They have unfortunately found a way to care, and Neo does worry them just a smidge the more he gets to know him. He doesn't need to know that though, not if Suilius has to leave someday.

a comfortable regular at Drysten's homely little B&B. it's a ways out from the marsh which makes it a perfect halfway point to stay for meeting with other witchery-inclined folks and some distant clients. Neo appreciates Drysten's similarly introverted demeanour and, while he doesnt necessarily consciously realize it, has a strong trust in the safety of Drysten and his establishment.
A 'curse doctor' they call him. I don't want that sort of business happening in my establishment, but... as long as he doesn't ask for my involvement, he may stay. It would be... bad. To lose one of my only regulars.

(He stands tall in Léo's presence; "It's out of respect," Stray would explain. Léo has motivation that Wolf covets, and idolizes the drive that pushes Léo forward despite death and pain that crests the horizon. Deep down he hopes Léo can help the pair break their endless chase. )
☆
Their meeting solidified one thing in Stray's soul- this guy was not someone you let go of! They know if they need help, Léo will be there with a hand outreached to guide them. "I genuinely don't know where he came from that day, I thought we were completely alone. I'm grateful he helped me back onto my feet back then, and super glad he continues to do so now!"
"Apologies, out of respect we are not to become too deeply acquainted with the housemice. I, for their comfort, do what is within my power not to single out individuals." Silvane tilts his head. "The generation under the floorboards today is a lovely group, and the lot of them do their work dutifully and well. I daresay I ask too much of them." ☆
Silvane deeply appreciates his castle's housemice and their company, even though he doesn't know Chalamet for who he is specifically.
"He's a great boss, provides all kinds of great things to me and my family."
"They are a fierce soul and show strong resolve. Despite their capricious attitude, I know that I may safely place my trust in them." Léo nods resolutely. ☆
Léo's judge of character is pretty sound, but it's admittedly a little hard to believe he's right about this tiny knife gremlin. Still, he lets them follow him on many an errand.
"Tall, quite tall, maybe taller than a tree!" Knife points at a tree and thinks real hard if Léo is actually taller than that specific tree or not...
"I am in their debt," Léo bows his head quickly, "Braver than they believe." (wippy) ☆
*honks rapidly* A FRIENNNDDD
"Honestly wouldn't know where I'd be if he hadn't offered to help me. I feel-I feel like I got part of my life back thanks to him." – Although initially frightened and apprehensive of the reclusive healer, Neo has since gained Latch's trust. Everything he's said made /sense/, and if Latch's slowly improving health wasn't any indicator that he was finally on the right track, what would be? He's since opened up to the older Spinxyn, happily chit chatting with him during his appointments about what he had for lunch the other day or showing him pictures of this unusual plant he found growing from a crack in the sidewalk.
"Oh uh, he's a good kid." Neo scratches his head and glances away. "pleasant company. means well. deserves the best. he's got his whole life ahead of him and all that. o-oh, you meant his treatment-? um, confidential. i respect my patients' privacy." ☆
Neo will never cop to enjoying anyone's presence but Latch's visits are a comfort to him. Sometimes it's peaceful to shoot the shit about mundane problems and successes in a magical world.
Friend!! Sometimes I share loose items like cheeses or little pretty things with him, but he never seems to want them. More for me, I guess!
*exaggerated sigh*
(wip hehe)
"He's older by MINUTES, by the way. But I'm ride or die with him 'til the end."
best friends, worst enemies, forever ride-or-dies. how does one describe a sibling?
old buddies!! it's been a while since they've seen each other though, especially now that they live in different boroughs and they're both so busy
"I, uhm—exuberant! That's a good word for her. She's really quite nice." — A new friend of Ersie’s, she initially didn’t know what to think of Laika (aside from admiration towards her craft) but despite her apprehension, took the chance and hasn’t regretted it. While admittedly a /bit/ overwhelming at times, she very much appreciates Laika’s energy and genuine interest in her and in the studio is sure to give her a spirited wave and weave her way through the crowd to chat with her once the set dies down. (She also is actively trying to find opportunities for them to spend time with each other outside work, but shh.)
