Avalon's mainly seen Belladonna through some of the jobs they've helped the guild set up. They genuinely curious about it and wants to befriend despite slight gremlin tendencies. Is not afraid of the very likely possibility that she is a fae.
Retto's feelings on Desmonde is... complicated, to say the least. When they're lobbing quips and goofing around, he's super easy to read - and very fun to tease! But whenever he's genuine? She has NO idea how she's supposed to handle it.
There's a part of her, deep, deep down, that wouldn't mind a geninue friendship. But how in the world can a girl like her have that, if her whole life is built around seeing who can take advantage of the other first?
Belladonna is pure, and Belladonna has the potential to live her life alongside people. Beryl feels a responsibility to nurture that.
Surma thinks Maule is a lot of fun to hang around with, despite Maule's whole omen deal. They enjoy teasing Maule, but generally know when to lay off and check on them when needed. Because of their shared upbringing in Elta Nina, Surma's talked to Maule from time to time about their past.
Their current employer! The current impressions is not good, given that Jona ended up sending them into a political conflict in the nation of Virinium which just... enraged Havok to no end.
As Shuu, they openly talk about Indu being their 'cute mascot partner,' and use that to justify choosing them during Blind Trust Fall. However, Shuu knows Indu far more than they jokingly seem to let on, and would do anything to make sure they're ok (namely for Nikola's sake), even if they tend to butt heads a fair bit irl.
Carvus is the first time Ankaa had questioned why she was supposed to fight someone -- as well as the first time she witnessed what would happen when she did. She had originally held that fateful day as a reminder to never let her guard down...but as time passed, once more she found herself questioning the truth of that day.
So when it's Carvus who manages to save her from the very flames that hurt him so long ago? Ankaa comes to learn that the two of them, deep down, had both been hurt due to the same, corrupt country that tried to use the two of them. And because of that shared pain, Ankaa has grown to trust Carvus quite a lot, even if it'll take time for her to fully get back on her feet again.
He's a target at first--after all, she's been tasked with eliminating spirits from the world, and she's going to take that job seriously! She's a chosen one!
This being said, she's a teenager--she finds his attention annoying, but a little endearing.
Oh, Yoshinori is VERY interesting! His mood is so volatile, so it's always interesting to see how he interacts to any given situation. Victor is pleased to have chosen him as one of The Reapers. He finds his strength--especially when synergized with the rest of the group--very exciting as well.
Runim, though wary of Jona at first, appreciates his efforts to look into the mystery that is Runim themself. Though both look out for his safety, the reasons couldn't be more different -- while Rutile genuinely cares for him and couldn't bear to see him hurt, Nimbus sees Jona as a critical information source, and knows well that losing such a source would effect them greatly. (Nimbus also does care about Jona as a person, but is currently unaware of it.)
Michi is Hazel's childhood friend, who was a breath of fresh air from the otherwise pressuring and strict upbringing Hazel had. So when the two of them are brought into the game, and the game instructs him to kill him...Hazel spends the first two arcs dreading what's to come.
But, by the fall trial, his interactions with Michi change his feelings on how to approach the game. If the rules say that the seasons just need to pass, then what's stopping him from making both Fall and Winter 'pass'? What's stopping from saving the person who, ultimately, he's come to love dearly
Unfortunately, Hazel fails to kill the winter representative, and loses his memories...or, so it seems. Perhaps by a whim of fate, or something else, Hazel's memories still slumber somewhere deep down. And though it'll take time for him to remember everything, there's one thing he knows for certain -- and that's the feelings that he has towards Michi.
Lux meets Michi through DRcade2 as Obai and, being someone that Fulvio - or Hazel - loves and cares for, Lux by extension cares for Michi as well. Though there was a moment where she genuinely thought Michi used Hazel's affections to kill him, when she realizes that Michi was looking for a way to die, she makes sure to make it clear that Hazel would want him to live.
Post-game, though their interactions are often small, she checks in on him and Hazel to see how the two of them are doing.
Initially unsure what to make of Michi, especially due to their ties with Hazel, who had decided to deflect from the game. But as they came to terms with why Hazel acted the way he did...Holly feels a sense of guilt for 'killing' Hazel.
Post-game, Holly quietly vows to keep an eye on them, perhaps because of their shared struggles with knowing someone who lost their memories. One of the very few that can get them to show any level of 'true' emotions, rather than 'mask' they generally show around most folks.
