I'm just speaking my mind here :P Maybe some of you have noticed that I have a set group of characters that I use in the character development forums, and maybe some of you have checked that not all of them are on the same RP characters folder. They all don't share the same 'available for th rp' tag! So why do I make no sense? Truth is, I have a somewhat nitpicky system when it comes to using my characters!

Roleplaying on here is tricky, it doesn't always make sense, but I don't like things that make little sense, and I like things to have continuity. Overall I just really like roleplaying, man, and doing so very casually here is nice! I don't have to wait for someone else to reply, I can just drop a microinteraction and be done with it! I get to see new characters and people get to see mine as well!

At the veeeery beginning of my toyhouse, I used Alice a lot in the forums because I thirsted to roleplay him. After a while, I got him into a roleplay group on dA. We had a lot of fun there! But that meant Alice wasn't free to interact with people outside the group! That would lose continuity, you know! He would develop in a way others wouldn't understand. That doesn't work, so I don't put him out again.

Michael was in a group before Alice, but that one died down and his existence works as he dies so often and jumps from dimension to dimension to relive his fate that he can wander anywhere and meet anyone!

There are times where I'd like to make microinteractions with Kei, who's like, the huggest reality leaper I have (so it would make sense to have him interact with anyone and anything). But now he's having such a nice, human life with a girlfriend he loves so if I were to use him it would be before that and that's not very exciting for me. Plus, even if it were like that, it's supposed that one of his powers is to stop me from putting him in terrible situations. He's so stuck up he wouldn't interact with most people.

Basically, the RP Characters folder is for characters that legitimately are in a group, the available for th rp tag was for a thread I made a while back that I don't have up anymore cos I'm buuusyyy and the actual characters I allow myself to play in the forums are:

• Gauge. Obviously, I'm all about them apparently (secret: they're only my second favorite character! my first one is Leppo, but he's not nice. Yes, I know Gauge isn't nice, but imagine an even worse one) they're chaotic enough that even if they're part of a story and not a RP character, it just works.
• Ruffles. She IS intended as a RP character of a group that never came to life. I just enjoy writing how absurd her existence is, I guess the stereotypical blonde mixed with being a bitch is just fun. I don't like that I might come off as flirty or thirsty with her (in RPs i spend most of the time cursing her tbh). The Panty Anarchy homage tho
• RAW. Comes from the same reality fuckery as Kei, Michael and Alice (I have a diagram somewhere) but 1. they/them is difficult in spanish and 2. their 'lost' nature makes it easy so they can interact with anyone! While they can be annoying to some, I find it very amusing to roleplay them. They're so long winded! Still, they have legitimate abuse and neglect repercussions and it shows so naturally through their speech that I don't have to try much. It's very interesting! I like them a lot
• Michael. See above, he isn't really one of my fave characters (you'd think I've doomed him because of that, but almost all of my characters lead impossibly shitty lives) but he's one I've recycled (which is funny because I guess I've translated 'recycling' as 'dying over and over again') and he's my most 'normal human' choice when to RP with others LMAO
• Teeth Monster. I honestly still don't her voice down pretty much? I planned for her to take Leila's role in our prison group, but I dreamed Leila so she replaced Teeth. Which is good for her, she wouldn't have liked the job. In a way I like that she's a very terrifying monster but she also likes her meals cruelty free and is a nice person, only she doesn't want to be considered nice because it's a hassle. Also, she doesn't really belong anywhere so it just fits that she might wander around meeting other monsters or some humans.
• Leila. Again, I made her so recently that I figured maybe using her directly in the character development forum would help me develop her quickly? It worked a bit, but I didn't use her as much as I wanted, because I realized 'hey, I shouldn't use her in the same thread so many times in a row'
• Penta. I only use her every once in a while, and mostly because she comes with Gauge. They talk shit of each other a lot (but mostly Gauge complains). It makes sense that she interacts with others because she's a self proclaimed hunter, so she encounters all sorts of creatures! Also, she likes to sport her exposed bones, it's fun for her.
• Doritos. Very recently I've had an itch to RP him, he was supposed to be my first playable character in the same group as Ruffles, but I ended up liking her more. Still, I feel confident about his voice now, and I remember how much I like him whenever I draw him again! I'm such a slut for doritos.

I've been thinking of using Brevyn because he's a sweetheart, but it's a little odd for him to meet strange creatures or even humans. In his verse, trees are not seen by humans and he's not liked by plant species as he's a Plant Vampire, but we'll see! I've been thinking of using the characters on this folder, but I'm not sure yet because they ARE part of a whole story (that I supposedly finished) and they already exist pretty nicely within each other.

There are many other little shits that I might or might not use in the future, because an important note is that I have to both know how to write them and like to write them. Like, Aelia and Kerae are a valid choice to roleplay, but I don't feel very excited about them. Like yeah, their designs are cute and I like their concept, but they were always almost filler villains. Noneccie and Allegria might also be usable! But I have to rewrite Allegria's backstory and decide on where they both would be if they were to interact with others (and I risk getting Allegria's voice too similar to Gauge's. They aren't the same, but on several threads I only write their dialogue with zero actions cause I want to challenge myself with their voices!)

• Type Preferences: Depending on what you want to draw, I'd like a pixel fullbody or a tiny drawing (so vague but something like this? something that looks like a little card or a button) for a single character! If not that, I'd like a piece of your choice that shows a special outfit of form of theirs (see special outfits here) in any format! For couples (or more???) I'd like about anything HAHA. I'm aware that this is a preference so don't worry if you don't want to do something so specific! I'm fine with anything <3
  
• Characters to draw: Honestly all of my toyhou.se is open for you! Anything would make me happy. However, my fave characters are Leppo, Gauge, Nicanora, Asen and Alice. Other characters I would like to seen drawn are Mauna, Charo, Dairoe, Teeth, Ruffles, Doritos, Scixynn and RAW. Couples I'd like to see are Alice & Teru, Noneccie & Allegria, Asen & Californio, Dairoe & Sharon.
  though if you want to draw a couple, i'll need you to read this doc for a summary for them, as not all of them are romantic!!!

I would be just so heckin happy if you could make a new piece based off of this one (the characters appearing are Dymka, Zareth, Haziel, Circe, Penta, Gauge and Ghost Hunter) I know it's an absurdly complicated thing to ask for, but I guess it won't hurt to do it anyway HAHA I'd be happy even if they're 20x10 pixels just standing there doing nothing tbh
• Extra Information: i literally just made a google doc for this i am embarrassed. i'm being specific for what i want because if you want to draw one character just chilling i'd rather it be like a little pagedoll i can put on their profile or somewhere else. i don't think i'll be using them as icons, so that's a heads up. so yeah umm i would appreciate if you could stick with how my characters are portrayed! which means respecting their bodytypes and colors and such! (unless you're using a limited palette. which is nice. i like those)

@cordycepschowder made this new WORLD where u can doodle your rps with others! it can be casual or long term! it would be great if you could spread the word, and join if you wish :D rps are always great, and doodling them adds an exciting layer to it!!

there's also a dressing room-like world in the making out there, though i can't help make it now due to Business i might announce it here if it ever happens! i just. i just like to rp man. dude
