Riona has been avoiding Hope for nearly ten years. The two are well into adulthood now, but Hope still believes Rio is dead. Snow and Nydil frequently try to get her to see the error of her choice and what it's doing to Hope, but she remains too scared to see him. In New Bodhum, Snow and Nydil try again to talk to her, but this time they are joined by the spirits of Riku and Yue, who have been watching from the afterlife. Yue convinces Riona to go see her love.

It's date night at the fivesome's house. They decide to watch a movie together, as is common for them, and convince Hawkes to join them for a little substance-assisted relaxation. The movie doesn't quite pull them in, but as usual, each other's company certainly does.

Riku and Yue love each other, but neither knows of the other's true feelings. When they finally confess to one another, they promise each other to have a future full of light, happiness, and without darkness.
Xehanort has other plans for the two, and the future they wish for may not come to pass.
Tyle is unsure about his first trip to an actual beach. Having been raised on an island, Neko is a natural at teaching him to enjoy the water. She gets more comfortable as the day wears on, even daring to take her jacket off and reveal her scars. Tyle reassures her about them, and together, they have a fun day doing nothing of importance.

"Neko loves the Tangled world. It's colorful, rich in its history, and the festivals were tons of fun. She's been to them a couple times, and she always enjoyed herself. The dancing, well, she could live without that particular aspect, but everything else was fun. Which is why she narrows her eyes at Tyle when he offers his hand to her, music playing in the background and people swaying in circles."

Celio loves getting Reed drunk. He's at his most open then, shouting encouragement when the drow joins in on fight clubs at local taverns. This continues even after they've gotten together, and Celio aims to extend this night of fun long after the fight's over. Reed, to no one's surprise, is more than willing to join him.

As usual, Link is up late. He doesn't sleep well most nights, preferring to stare into the fire and zone out. This night is different, though. Hawkes returns from a patrol and catches the younger boy awake, despite the others all being fast asleep. Link offers to let the man sit with him, and they share a quiet moment together.

Tyle takes Neko across the rooftops of the floating city of Skaia. They like to hang out up here, watching the people down below while they remain hidden. Neko can't help but think of how they first met, when she taught him to climb and they scrambled around the high places of Twilight Town. It's a pleasant memory.

Link holds darkness in his heart. Mallaidh is the only one who knows the depth of it, how far Link could sink. After Hawkes is nearly beheaded in Wonderland, his rage overtakes him, directed at the true 'culprit' of Hawkes' 'crimes'. Mallaidh is the only one who can call him back.

It's been a week since Gray was rescued from the Collector. Their body has been restored, but their magic is slow to return. Precisely one week after the rescue, Gray's heart magic starts to reappear, allowing one of their frequent nightmares to leak into Gwyn's consciousness. Gwyn awakes with a start, as does Gray. Gwyn, despite being frazzled, begins to soothe his troubled partner, in all the ways he knows how.
