What is the person above's trademark?

(Related threads: What are your trademark character archetypes, What Do You Like About The Above User's OCs?, ☀️ Say something nice about above user's art)

I often find that a lot of people have themes and signature elements across all their creations that make them identifiable as theirs. There are a few threads around where we get to talk about our own trademarks, but I think it'd also be cool to find out what makes your creations unique and recognisable to other people. You might even learn something you never noticed about your own work!

How to participate: Look through the person above's OCs and works, and tell them what you think their trademark is. How can you always tell that an OC/art/writing was created by them? What stands out about their work that makes it recognisable as theirs, and no one else's?

  • Themes and tropes that they're fond of?
  • Personality types and physical traits that a lot of their OCs share?
  • A recognisable art style?

More detail is always appreciated. You can talk about designs, art style, writing style, and even all of those at once!

Rules:

  • Focus on OC profiles, art, literature and designs. Less focus on details that haven't got much to do with their creative work, e.g. their online identity, icon, profile themes (unless they made them themselves), and posting habits.
  • You can still mention these, of course—just say something about the user's creations first.
  • This is a compliment thread so please be kind and don't take this as an opportunity to diss people!

Definitely the kind of "blush" you seem to give to the characters you draw art of! It's very cute and I love how the colours aren't exactly just shades of red or pink but instead can be just about anything! Your characters also seem to be more on the cuter side, but like, in a more traditional way? Like not pastel kind of cute, just generally cute and very fun looking! The colour green seems to be a thing that repeats in your art and characters as well, and I think it's a very nice color to be considered a trademark ; v ;

Design-wise I'm noticing that you seem to be quite fond of blondes!! Your characters also have interesting and varied mouths -- it's a cool thing, because I feel like that's an often overlooked aspect of character design. Your art style is overall fun and cartoony and definitely stands out.

As far roles go, I've seen your OCs around before and noticed a lot of immortal humanoids of cool, original fantasy races, so I'd definitely consider that a trademark of yours. Also, lots of characters that go together in pairs -- not just in a romantic sense, but also siblings, etc. And also plenty of angst (I love it tho)

Most of your characters are feminine with long hairw! And cute too. A large amount of them are inspired by winter or snow, or shades of blue. Im guessing it's your favourite season. (It's mine too) Your characters receive a short but plenty amount of information to know who or what they are. Despite them being made by other people, you gave them all an equal amount of attention! Characteristic wise, you're fond of sweet, energetic, and royalty character. Having them occupated in a higher class in their past or present.

i think ur trademark is ur planet characters! i never imagined someone would be able to make OCs out of planets and make them look so individual and unique and u've done it so so well ;o; ur characters all seem to have very pastel-y colour schemes as well and ur art in general has a very nice, soft, warm feeling which would be another trademark i'd say!

Lilina

Your trademark is your semi-realistic artstyle with a really nice comic-booky feel to it! The colors you use on your characters bring them to life, like they can be used in a work of fiction, specifically in a series of comics! You also make your own species, which is something that I do as well, and your species are really unique in any way possible!

Yo I haven't interacted with you that much so sorry if any of this is off!

But anyways most of your characters are humanoids or at least bipedal; I noticed that while most of them could be classified as humanoid, the ones that are regular humans still have a unique twist to them. Also most of your characters have different color schemes from one another. I'd say most of your character bios are simple with a twist.

In short I'd say most of your characters are quite unique from one another and they also have simple bios with a twist to them.

...no offense but the color IS white... ASDFGHJKL SORRY FOR THE LATE EDIT BUT I SEE WHAT YOU MEAN SORRY-

Arkhangelia

I think your trademark is that you tend to like human/ humanoid characters since I only see 3 ferals. You also use / like the colour closer to white, making them all look pale / otherworldly.

^ No, I mean the other colours are also white-like, even the yellow and the brown are whitish/ more to the white side of the colour palette ^^"

v Yes, I love Japanese language c:
I used to learn Chinese in school but I don't like it as much I like Japanese ; w ;
Yes, my place adopted Indian culture therefore I know some localised Sanskrit names! And I like most of them so I just slap them on my characters XD

AND YES MAKE THEM ALL GLOW //shot

Is my art grey-ish? ; w ; I'm currently trying to make more colourful art now 3

Caine

I think the first thing that really caught my attention was the use of names! Most of your characters seem to have a Chinese, Japanese or Indian names, if my knowledge on names rings any truth. Either way though the names you use are very unique, often also quite long but I don't think it's a bad thing at all - it definitely catches the attention of people! Also, observing your general character designs and aesthetics, I'd say glowing/bioluminescence, canines and very impressive hair/neck fluff!

Art wise, I'd say the gray-ish, kind of loose lineart that gives a nice smoothness and a sense of dynamics to your drawings!

^ Oh no I didn't mean your art is gray! I just noticed the lineart colour in itself seemed to tip on the grayer side

To me, you have one of the most recognisable style of characters and art on this site. I'll start off by mentioning the obvious, such as your abundance of more delicate and youthful looking male characters who have a more feminine style of dress and face, the style your lineart and colours are done in (that semi-lineless, semi-lined style is so recognisable!), the androgyny that is visible throughout your entire gallery all for characters regardless of gender, and your use of more historical and intricate clothing pieces combined with their often pastel to monotone colouring.

Some extra stuff I enjoy seeing come back in your characters' stories is dark cuties. Grimdark, sometimes depressing storylines seem to be a prominent theme. For some reason, I also link themes of religion and occult to you, even if I am not sure if that's something you use that often? l'D That definitely gives your art that cool dichotomy between on the one side its more fantasy-fairytale like appearance, and on the other side the dark absolutely not child friendly themes. Story-wise, fighting against predisposition and being forced into things characters didn't want seems very prominent as well.

And lastly, a faint blush is present on most of your artwork and characters. It's become a bit of an easy way to recognise everything :3c

AlleycatIrony

i think ur trademark is that most of ur characters have very earthy-toned palettes to them :0 the fact that they all have matching icons really stands out as well as it makes them more uniquely 'yours' if that makes sense! so in a way ur icons alone would be a trademark bc no-one else has icons like those ones c:

another thing that comes across as a trademark is characters w/ horns as almost all of ur OCs have horns coming out of their heads! i feel that might be an odd thing to have associated w/ someone but i always know ur OCs from the palettes and horns :3 - and icons too!

It was really nice reading through a bunch of your characters! Something that stuck out as a trademark of your is they way your character's stories often center around the relationships between characters and the ways it effects them. Even if they have fantasy elements to them there stories seem to more often focus on the realism present at their core. I do think there is a sense of optimism there as well, as you characters do seem to be good natured people.

In regards to you art and designs I'd say that the things that stand out to me are the cartoony and stylised features with an emphasis on the large, round eyes and colour palettes that balance brown, earthy tones and bright colours

FellowPigeon claim ! (will write after work)

Sorry for the late reply I'm on a mission at work and access to internet is limited to less than 30 minutes a day ;;

The most noticeable thing is the way you draw the eyes and noses on your characters. They make each and every of them unique and easily recognizable. Your coloring style and the way you draw hair are very characteristic of your art style and I like it a lot ✨

Again I apologize for the short comment, I can't write much more from now on and until next month ;; Hope it's okay !
