Calendar & Holidays

While many folks in current times might not realize it, the calendar as it exists in Atuannar was put into place thousands of years ago by the Vesperian Empire. Many of the names and traditions will stem from Protokeran tradition and naming conventions, no matter who chooses to celebrate. In fact, having a universal calendar has made trade and communications between the sentient species much easier.

There are twelve months/365 days in a calendar year, five months are 31 days while the remaining are 30. Several holidays are observed in Protokeran tradition in relation to the change of seasons in the capital of Vesperia.
