Natural Resources
There are a wealth of natural resources unique to Atuannar, all with their own purposes and cultural significance. This section is a work in progress.
Vesperian Crystal
This polychromatic crystal is a resource unique to the mild temperate areas surrounding the capital city of Vesperia, hence its name. It holds endless magic potential, and is used for a wide variety of things:
- Runestones
- Jewelry
- Armor (rarely are full suits made of this, but rather gems are inlaid)
- Technology and machinery
- Agriculture (a combination of magical ward and aesthetic)
- Offerings to the gods
- Enchantments (attached to various items to imbue magical power)
Energy Sources
The Protokeros have been developing means of using water, wind, solar energy, and electricity; though the latter still requires the use of Vesperian Crystal. Primitive sources such as wood and coal are still used in more rural areas.
Minerals & Metals
A variety of substances used in metalworking, construction, jewelry making, technomancy, and spell components.
