MYO, CUSTOMS, ETC.
There are multiple ways to obtain Protokeros. Each person is allowed 2 free "Starter" Make-Your-Own (MYO). In addition, MYO slots and customs of varying tiers can be purchsed directly from Starkindler Studio, or sometimes adoptables by Starkindler Studio or guest artists. If you go the MYO route, please be sure to read the MYO Guide below thoroughly! At the bottom of this page is a submission form/checklist to be sure you didn't miss anything. Submit that checklist to Starkindler either in a DM or on the Discord server in the design_approval channel. For your convenience, there is a Free-to-Use (F2U)* Protokeros MYO base pack. It will only work with SAI and Photoshop CS5 or later. I cannot guarantee it will work in older versions of Photoshop, or other programs that support PSD files. There are instructions in the PSD itself for use, but I will warn SAI users to delete the body type folders you WON'T be using, since the file is near layer limit! If you intend to purchase anything from Starkindler Studio, you must read the Terms of Service (T.o.S.), and be over 18 years of age.

DON'T
- Make breeding sheets
- Take commissions for custom Protokeros
- Make hybrids with other species without permission
- Use Rare or Illegal traits

- All Standard/Common Traits: Free
- Uncommon Trait Upgrade: $3 per trait
- Anything above Uncommon traits are NOT available for Starter MYO use.
Additional MYO Slots
MYO slots for purchase outside the two free starter MYO
- Standard Tier: $25 Use only Standard/Common Traits.
- Uncommon Tier: $35 Use any trait Uncommon or lower. Multiple Uncommon traits permitted.
Starkindler Studio Customs
Custom Protokeros designed with your input
- Standard: $35+ Use any trait Common or lower. Multiple Common traits permitted.
- Uncommon: $40+ Use any trait Uncommon or lower. Multiple Uncommon traits permitted.
- Rare: $55+ Use any trait Rare or lower. Multiple Rare traits permitted.
Outfit Design
Custom attire tailored to your Protokeros' design. You can request a discounted version drawn on the MYO base. ($35+ Minimal and $55+ Complex)
- Minimalistic, Off-Base: $55+ A unique drawing of your character, with simple and minimal clothing.
- Complex, Off-Base: $75+ A unique drawing of your character, with more complicated clothing elements and minimal shading for things like armor to show texture.

If you are seeking to make your own Protokeros, please adhere to the following guidelines when making your design!
Trait Usage
When designing your Protokeros, make note of the trait rarities and which you can use for free, for purchase, or not at all.
Your first two MYO slots are FREE, and are only permitted Standard or Common traits by default. Free MYOs are permitted Uncommon trait upgrades for $3 per trait. Each MYO after the first two will require a purchased MYO slot. (It will be possible in the future to earn MYO slots, but that system is still being constructed.)
Character Building
The Protokeros species is focused on world building and character interaction, so it is required to have a grounding for your character in the world of Telluvial! When submitting your Protokeros for approval, the following requirements must be met and included in your application:
- Your Protokeros' current age, current location, and the location they are from
- Your Protokeros' first AND last name
- ONE patron deity and chosen profession if your Protokeros is over the age of 30.
The following is a list of things you could think of to help you further define your character, but are NOT necessary for approval:
- Birthday
- Family History
- Hobbies and Habits
- Current friends and interests
- Career/Life goals
Approval
When you are ready to submit your MYO, either send a note to the Protokeros Group, or contact Starkindler here or in the Discord server! In your application, include your artwork and required character building information (this includes the MYO approval form, found below. Please wait until you recieve approval BEFORE uploading your design to your gallery. You will be assigned a masterlist number and added to the database. If you have any questions during the MYO process, contact Starkindler at any time.
If your MYO is approved, you can upload to any site! However, you must remember to include credit to Starkindler Studio and a link back to any of the Protokeros pages.
Ordering & MYO Approval
Fill out the form below when submitting a MYO for approval, or when requesting a custom slot. Payments are made up-front in USD through Paypal. When the custom is finished or MYO is approved, you will be assigned a registry number and your Protokeros will be official! For custom outfit commissions, just message Starkindler and follow the T.o.S.
