everybody’s favorite potion brewer in training! hayden is the child of a rabbit faun, a nymph, and his surrogate minotaur mother. his father is one of the fair folk, which was one of the many motivations for hayden to pursue an interest in herbology from a young age onward. this, in turn, turned to potion brewery, and he knew just the person to approach to give him a lesson or two in the craft. so now, he serves as cynthia’s familiar! while he helps her run her shop during the day, after closing time, they spend time together to teach hayden lessons in magic. with his amicable and fun-loving character, however, this quickly turned into regular sleepovers as well, with education first, of course, but just hanging out and having a good time being a really solid second. thanks to this, the two have gotten very close!

hayden is a naturally cheerful person, and is usually very open in conversation, encouraging his friends to be mutual in sharing of feelings. nevertheless he has one insecurity that sticks out, and that is due to his autism symptoms, he has the all-too-familiar tendency to want to be the comic relief of the group, in an effort to make himself more likeable. with how good he’s gotten at genuine socializing over the years, it’s become kind of a redundant ability, but old habits are hard to shake.
he’s very laid-back, doesn’t worries about much, but despite this manages to be quite ambitious, and has hopes of one day achieving big things, something to have his name on it. he’s fully intending on opening his own brewery, once the time comes!

though, he might be a little too sentimental about cynthia’s shop to leave anytime soon.
