Er, he knows... she exists...? He wasn't very keen on ever getting to know her better, though. Isn't she like, an old lady now?
Her younger cousin with healing powers. She remembers playing with him when he was little and aunt and uncle visited her parents.
Another victim of his sister's judgemental yapping. But, for once, he'd managed to not only apologise for it, but... also er, possibly, make a friend? Perhaps it's a jump for him to assume so, but... Rag's pleasant to talk to, even if she's incredibly nervous. They've already met a few times, so hopefully with some luck they... could.. perhaps.. keep it up, and just... hang out every once in a while. Vis wouldn't mind that.
WHY IS SHE ATTRACTING ALL OF THESE WEIRD SUPERNATURAL PEOPLE. Why are her friends ghosts and demons! She doesn't have the capacity to deal with demon realms and death oh god what HAPPENED to him?!
Ragnilde genuinely enjoys spending time with Viscon! He's quiet, but also smart and understanding. He's approachable and they've had some nice conversations, and they have a lot of similarities! His sister is loud-mouthed and scary, but she also deals with that all the time in the mall, so nothing new there. She can tell Vis is trying his best.
But something happened to him. Something that sent him with horrible wounds to hospital - something which he knows a lot about but doesn't want to share. She's concerned - DEEPLY concerned! ...But a small part of her is selfish, and wished he didnt involve her in this mess. She has her own demons to tackle, but she's pulling her hair out knowing that she'll be tackling his too.
Her dad has always been fascinated by demon culture, and he'd probably love him. She... just wishes Vis was a bit more normal, for her sake, and especially his sake.
....also are ALL his siblings freaky?
The squirrel is...really fucking judgmental and condescending, no way around that honestly. Things like that are not unexpected in the end now are they? Most adults seem to have that to them in the end. Though at least he didn't laugh at his stupid problem...Maybe Taph isn't as bad as they originally though?
...Annoying kid, grew into a less-annoying-but-still-with-room-for-improvement teen. Very quickly so, by the way. Taph's convinced the first time they saw him he was shorter than them.
Still though. Growth. Always appreciated. Never enough.
...ALSO they have doubts about his story. It sounds tragic, enough that it also sounds made up. They shall be sceptical about it until proven true.
Nice lady! Her and another rabbit found her? Got her food?? Was nice! Just didn't let her run around and eat everything she saw! Kinda rude!
Well, shit, that's someone Taph's seen more than once in their life, now. AND they seem to be thinking! Maybe barely. But maybe more than they let on. Who knows.
As much as it felt that in library Lia was intent on just teasing Taph, maybe she thought they were being stuck up or something (...well, yeah, for reasons, but, you know), in the beach bar she was alright. Pleasant company, even. A bit loud of Taph's liking, but Lia kinda reminds them of Iva, minus the 'reckless art student', I guess.
Er, seemed nice! And also tall, like himself. It's a hard life having long legs.
...
Also 'Bows appreciates Sven came over to help out with Fate's... issues. Hopefully the girl feels better now!
Does Taph feel bad about making a total stranger feel anxious and accidentally caught up in a brief argument between two other strangers?
....A little. But at the same time, not really.
Can't blame Taph for being curious about someone who's functioning on valves and pipes, goddammit.
From their brief conversation, one thing can be deduced for sure - Anna is adorable!
...As much as her conversational skills seemed... lacking. A strange persona, this was. But a pleasant one, with a love for snow!
She was cool! A demon girl, with demon looks and demon powers and a shy voice and a nice personality! And she liked swimming! He still wants to go swimming with her someday - despite... everything that happened. He.. doesn't believe all demons are inherently BAD, like Drastic says. ...Surely, some more meetings with people like her would prove either of them wrong, and HE'S sure it'd be Drastic proven wrong!
What a smart kid! He knew so much, and he had some really good stories! He also proposed to go swimming some time together, which would be really cool too! She could race him in the water (and win, obviously), and she could show off her powers, and he could tell more stories. Sounds like a good plan.
Oh yeah, Dione remembers this person. The library, right? They seemed so grumpy the whole time, and in all fairness, the wolf was slightly intimidated by Taph. She was also a little worried about them, though. Hopefully they're doing a little better now.
Their meeting was uneventful, basic, brought nothing more than the usual daily disappointment into Taph's life and was, overall, forgetful.
What Taph did remember though was that this girl kept apologising, over and over, for things that didn't need apologies at all. An anxious mess she was, that is. Desperately needs some friends, and to not be a little bitch, and to get a hobby. Assessment done.
And what's SHE doing with her life? Yeah, she made them, but that's about it. As far as Newido knows she's just as busy sitting in the realm doing nothing as dad-mon.
(send help)
She's uh
A bat like them.
...
That's about the extent of his knowledge here.
(what is her personality)
-
Oh.
Did he accidentally take this kid's place in life?
Oh. Oh well. Whatever. He deserves his vacation.
FUCKING NOTICE ME SENPAI- that is, well, that's the dad demon. The first one. The most powerful demon in charge of their entire realm.
And she's the most powerful demon of her generation, in charge of all those outcoming mortal-otherworld businesses so WHY IS IT THAT IN HER ENTIRE LIFE SHE HADN'T EVEN HAD THE CHANCE TO TALK TO HIM?! Is she not IMPORTANT enough? I mean what does HE do all day anyway? He could be so much and he's just rotting away with the mom demon while their children do all the work! She'd make their realm THRIVE and have it grow into something more than just.. family meeting hub. She could make it second Void goddammit! Just LET HER!
One of his more powerful children! She has his determination, and her instinct.
...
But whatever plan she ever brews up, she's gonna need her OWN plane for that - he worked hard stealing this pocket dimension and it's his quiet place and his baby and he's not gonna have it changed into a MARKET.
Plus, he feels that she might wanna watch her many kids more carefully.
Some old fart who owns their family realm.
...She's got his eyes.
Well, a lot of bats have black scleras. But she has got HIS eyes.
She'll grow up to be a POWERFUL person.
...And yeah she's his favourite bat-child. ...Well, aside from her mother.
She's his lady, the most important creature to him in this whole world.
Others don't know just how scary she can be, and he imagines whoever met her would question how she managed to stay alive, with her formless demon shape and feeble Mobian body. But he knew from the start that she's not someone you should mess with. Even if he hadn't fallen for her, he would never attempt to take her life like he ended so many other demons'. It's not apparent at first, but.. she can see right through you. She reads you like a book, and always knows just what to expect. It's not even any seer power. She just KNOWS.
And with that, he doesn't know why she chose him, probably knowing more about him than he ever learnt about her. If she just used her unlimited confidence and potential, she could probably be so much more. But she settled for a liar and a backstabber and a tiny thing like him, and he feels they're both happy as things are.
He's SPECIAL to her. And she thinks everyone who met him should consider him special. A tiny demon who climbed the ladder, bested so many other demons, surpassed all his limits including even his own mortality just to settle down in a tiny home to live out the rest of his now infinite life in peace and quiet. With her.
She doesn't really know why he chose her, with his paranoid attitude and his knowledge on just how much potential of power she holds. But she's glad he chose her.
Their ancestor. That much he knows. His entire family pretty much lives in that tiny realm they own, like in a big cosy house. Well - ok, it's more like a meeting hub, like a mansion for family gatherings every now and then when different branches of their family aren't busy spreading influences over other realms.
Viscon can't say he's ever seen him, though. Honestly, not even sure he's alive.
....He's a simple demon dad. He's got two bloodlines he can call himself an ancestor of - and his favourites aren't the bats, and he's the slightest bit disappointed it's THEM that are more connected to his realm than the hedgecats.
But his lady has a weird liking for this particular bat. She likes them all, since they were made more in her image after all, but she feels this one's special, and he can't help but sometimes observe Viscon and wonder what she means. Just like his mom, he's got vision powers, and just like all Dakon's children, he has black blood and a drive to achieve whatever he desires to.
...But his desires do seem to differ from most of the bats' ones.
???
Is that the dude whose portrait's hanging in her grandparents' house? Like he's probably a relative or what??????
He gets to observe his offsprings sometimes, and while he doesn't exactly feel an EMOTIONAL connection (I mean, he's had hundreds of generations of offspring), he finds it funny that the genes prevailed. I mean, her father is practically a... more mortal clone of himself.
...Personality-wise, they all seem to have the same stubbornness and drive he has. Good. Good traits.
He keeps getting into trouble. Disrespecting his elders, offending people, stealing, running about at night, getting into danger and forcing Adeo to cover for him in any way he can. He should be glad his default face is that of a pure, innocent, defenseless little lamb, too - that tends to help. And maybe now that his big brother is away, he'll actually try and behave since others won't be so quick to help him get out of trouble!
....
Adeo absolutely loves Simon and hopes no harm happens to him ever. They ARE each other's only family, after all. He's a good child at heart! Adeo knows it!!
Adeo's cool! He's off to fight monsters and bad people and purify the world from evil! He's just kinda a nerd, Simon thinks. And he agrees with everything the elders say, and Simon doesn't. He thinks they're too stuck up. Adeo shouldn't be stuck up when he's an elder, too. What the elders say is BORING, anyway. They want him to sit in his room all day and the only times when he's not in his room is when they call him to do chores or study, it's dumb! He's not gonna do that! He's gonna train outside, to be a good wizard or whatever Adeo is and purify the world of evil, too!!
