Viscon Little Viscon don't run away no no you are good you show much! Promise! Can be better, stronger, can do much more very much here! If you are not happy, he can fix, can fix up can change can help! Little Viscon you are smart, yes, but young! Very young, so baby much of a child! But Solomon can help, yes yes! Give him chance, give him time! You are worker, yes, worker very busy special worker under him! And he knows yes he? Appreciates that?? But please just please give a chance give one! It may be a wonderful, beautiful, most very whimsical world of demons yes, but no scare do not scared! He can show! Open? Your eyes? To greatness!!
...Aha.. ahaha... what??? What???? He's been working like two years already under, uh, this guy? Yes? Great. I mean, no, Solomon.. really.. er, seemed nice. Viscon is still not sure what was the deal with the sudden visit and everything, but if apparently that's what happens to every worker, as Parabit said, then maybe he really shouldn't have worried so much. ...Still, he'd rather keep his family problems to himself. Especially down under, where they can find OUT. Plus, Solomon seemed awfully powerful, but also had an.. air of.. er.. naivety.. to him? Maybe that's just because of the way he talked. ..And because of how apparently he's.. a real big fan of Bafalaut. That last bit of their conversation.. was really worrying. ..Viscon hopes that, despite everything, he WILL manage to quit his job in time and wil NOT upset Solomon too much with it. The guy.. probably guy seemed really great, and being scared of getting torn apart by his telekinesis aside, he just doesn't wanna worry the giant many-eyed orb+cloth creature. He probably has a lot on his mind already.
How can you not understand what EVIL is? Of course, Alpha understands that there's instances when evil people do evil things for reasons they think are right. Like trying to steal treasure because their child is sick so they need money for that child and can't get it in any other way! And there's also ways to get evil people to be good, then obviously their deeds are not forgotten, but they can be forgiven, so evil isn't always REALLY evil. But.. what did that kid mean, saying that evil doesn't exist, yet Alpha can't fight it? People do bad things, so it's there! But they can be stopped, so it can be FOUGHT! It's simple as two plus two, and Karma is a weird kid for not understanding that, but that's alright. They could be friends, and maybe Karma would eventually want to join him and White Flame and beat up evil with them!
Another one time meeting. And Alpha was an odd one, more odd than Karma would label themselves. Just talking about knights and fighting evil, like yes sure that is how the world works. Clearly no grey in that black and white spectrum of good and evil. Though after the time that has passed, Karma is curious to see how this hybrid ended up and if his views have changed at all since.
literally what the hell was that kid doing. They went and.. threw themselves off a building, and then broke all their limbs and scratched at themselves and it was awful and Maia couldn't even THREATEN them with her demon strength and claws because he wanted to get hurt???? He wanted her to hurt him! What kinda person does that???! And then, and THEN he wanted to EAT her! But, but SHE's the one who's supposed to be eating people and scaring them and everything, and they, th-they, ha, no, she wasn't scared of them at all! She just thought them... stupid! Yeah! For hurting themselves and then trying to hurt her! But they couldn't! Cause she fled! They just.. hurt her wing a little but it BARELY HURT ANYWAY. YEAH. And next time, Viscon will protect her from them! For sure!
They met her like...once? It was a good while ago but they haven't entirely forgotten about her yet. In hindsight it really is funny that she thinks she can be a giant demonic ruler when she had seemed so panicky and scared in moments of their interaction. But credits are given where credits are due, she did have the powers to back up that wish. Maybe she will have grown next time they meet.
:3c
Yeah Virus is not going to be able to erase that face from his vision for a while. Despite that the wolf is a bit...odd? Virus really can't pinpoint what it is about him that creates those thoughts. But he helped Elec in the past so he can't be all bad, right?
Ernest isn't entirely sure what to think of the guy? Is he boring as hell or actually interesting? Stuck up or nice?? Absolutely basic or bizzare???? Doesn't help he had like half a bottle of alcohol in his system when they met. But at least he had an.. Interesting conversation. Maybe they could talk more or something.
Awww, Electrisa is a cutie pie! She's a lovely little lass with her heart in the right place, and a child their mother would be proud of! She's sweet, well-mannered, and a pleasure to talk to, albeit their first discussion was brief! Still, with her job, it's got her a fair bit of attention, and it'd be a lie to say that she hadn't heard of Elec before. But actually conversing with her was great, and she'd love to speak to her again! Hopefully, she''ll take the offer to head over to Paramour at some point. Honestly, she can't see her on the tables, but she imagines she'd have a fun time with her friends!
Nice older lady with funny accent! Honestly didn't even feel THAT old, and not just because of foundation like she said. Apparently owns a casino, and Kal works in it too! Maybe Guet visits that one as well? Maybe it's one and the same, that'd be funny. Elec's.. not really into all this game stuff, though admittedly she never visited a place like that, so maybe she could try one day, if only just to talk to Rosalind again. She seems like friend material! And she recognised her from the weather thing too! It feels so nice when strangers know you for what you do~
Whatever. David is his brother and Flix has nothing against him. He's an okay person, blaming himself for things that weren't his fault. He's also boring as all hell, too. To the point where Flix barely remembers his name sometimes. Pigeons? Really? Out of all things. Pigeons. Great.
He can barely look Flix in the eyes nowadays. And Flix doesn't give off any positive vibes either, though then again, Flix was never exactly friendly towards anyone. ..Or, well. He was. When he was a kid. ...David only joined in on the ride halfway into the whole "turning this kid's power on" thing. It sounded dumb and pointless, but it was David who was the biology man, and.. could he really say no to dad after he brought him to his house, paid for his therapy, education and gave him a home and a family he missed so much? Did others feel the same way as David, working with Flix? Oh, god, it just feels like the poor mara took the bullet for the whole team of adopted science misfits. Except he never wanted to. And it's his own team that shot him.
David is one of the few cool people in the lab. He really likes mythology of any sorts? And reads a lot, so you actually have stuff you can talk to him about. He's nice, though worries about some stuff too much and gets intimidated easily. Tends to stay in his own world, but opens up near his brothers.. er, excluding Flix. But he tries, god bless.
..he just hopes Er's okaaay... dealing with Flix is probably tiresome, and the guy is so self-conscious about his looks too.. David likes Ernest, they talk quite often and sometimes go for like a drink and stuff. Though not TOO often because Flix is usually around Ernest, and then David feels kinda very awkward. Do they. Do they hate him? Or not? He can't tell?
His loser fifteen-minutes-younger brother. A cook? Really? They could've made like, a twin band and be happy and get lots of girls, or at least Grav would, because Levi with his goofy smile probably would be the less liked one, but okay, I guess settling down with a job and no girl in your TWENTIES is a better way to spend the best years of your life. Grav is not having any of this at least and is trying to spend his time the best he can. Levi can do the work for him. At least he's happy, earning money for his cunning older brother to spend when he's home. Ha! Loser...
His loser fifteen-minutes-older brother. Somehow got into a rock band despite the fact that he's only been playing the guitar for like.. a year now? Ok, at least he's good at it. Levi doesn't know if he could stand living with Gravit under one roof if he WASN'T good at it. And thankfully they only live together when Gravit isn't on tours, so honestly he's fine with Gravit being a.. rather.. useless older brother. He kinda hides the fact that he does have a girlfriend from Gravit, cause he knows Grav does not, and knowing Levi does would probably make him feel miserable, and that probs isn't gonna help anyone. His big lil' loser twin.
he hates him and his stupid smile and the goddamn soda dispensers and putting the whole concept of society and family and business and science and genetics even goddamn genetics on their heads the whole world upside down because mr. cat wants so experimenting on him like he's a fucking lab rat and if only he wasn't a kid if only he wasnt a kid then he'd burn the whole place down and burn out the cat's eyes with his own spit and only ernest would be left only ernest realised that child experimenting is somehow frowned upon in society and not allowed but no mr. cat had to be an edgy genius but newsflash mr. cat isn't a genius he's a fucking shitstain on this dump of a world and it shouldn't be physically possible for anyone to love him or even like him or tolerate him living breathing enjoying his normal life the normal life he took away from flix and stomped on it and threw it away like a broken toy because flix was never a son never a star he was a toy just a toy
His youngest adopted son! Yeah, he's okay! He WAS supposed to be like turned into a robot, but made of flesh, but like halfway through North realised that it was not worth the money and the effort and also it got boring after a few years. On the bright side tho, the guy can't feel pain now, AND has sick toxic powers. Good trade. Good. North felt a lil bad for dragging the kiddo into this for a while, but then Ernest took over and they live together and it sounds like it's alright. Flix doesn't really talk to him at all, and hasn't in.. uh.. what, 5 years now? But whatever. If he wants to hold a grudge then it's his problem. If Flix has any problems, then North is always up for listening, after all, he likes helping people, but if Flix just won't talk then that probably means he has no problems. It's only logical.
...He'd... love to say he HATES his father, but... does he, really? Getting dragged into lab business was awful. Messing up Flix was awful. The whole... screwed up idea of just "taking in children from streets and raising them for science"... well.. in the end, they DID become a family, right? And he wasn't that bad of a father either, probably.. okay, OKAY, more of an older brother honestly. Mom is happy with him running around with constant new ideas and determination and energy of a child, though Ernest can not comprehend what could ever make her fall in love with that man. And, admittedly, she does not know like half the stuff dad actually did. At least she ACTS like she doesn't. ..But yeah, it's less 'hate' and more.. not being able to understand each other leading to a rather confused and confusing father-son relationship. If only.. if only he hadn't messed up Felix so badly, if only Felix was okay and not.. what he i s..
If his parents could drag HIM into power family science business he couldn't give less of a fuck about, then he has every right to do the same to his own children! ...Well, one, to be exact. Edward didn't exactly have the smarts to, and Eleonora is stuck in her goth/anarchy phase. But Ernest, he's great. Yeah okay he's got some problems, but that's to be expected when you've been in a coma for a year and then without half the body for another and your dead grandpa talks to you on a regular basis or something like that. But he's also good at science, and at being a right hand guy, and he's also liked by his adopted brothers. Ellie said he also writes stuff or what? Well, good! He can write all he wants, as long as the lab isn't going bankrupt! Because if it goes, then North sure as hell isn't gonna do anything about that. Unless he somehow feels like it. He SOMETIMES feels adventurous.
Another one of his adopted sons! Admittedly North only found him when David was like, a teenager already, but still, not entirely an adult, away from home by like.. a quarter of the whole planet and casually just drugging himself up in dark alleyways because that's what teenagers do apparently. How could he not take that lemur in? And look, he grew up just fine! Finished higher education, very good addition to main science team, and he's so adorable too, I mean just look at him with his pigeons and everything. Overall his adopted sons are great. All of them colourful too. Honestly, look at his real children, all of them bland white wolves with green eyes, and not even one acid-trip-like kitten? Where's his colour barf babies?!
Oh, um, well.. dad is... slightly.. i-intimidating? .. Unpredictable? Nice? Revolting? Confusing. Confusing, mainly. David is grateful for him fixing up slighly skewered life and for giving him the chance to develop his true potential - without dad, David could poootentially be dead from overdose, or some other stuff a homeless young person could die of. But at the same time, his motives are.. well, yeah. What are they? Dad claims he just wants everyone (ESPECIALLY himself, as he often mentions) to be happy, but then you look at Feli- Fli-... mara, or Ernest, or any of other actual kids dad had, and.. you can't really tell. Is this what happiness is to Peter? Or is it just a work in progress? Or another ditched project?
Who?
...Oh, right. He had a son. Actually like.. he probably had.. two...? Was that right? ..Well either way. Having a son was alright. Tadeusz was actually cute and Sarami was happy, and like, okay, he felt kinda bad running away from lil' Tadeusz and pregnant Sarami, but, look, he HAD to, or else he- they'd ALL get killed. And at least in this scenario his son is probably chilling with mom and... sister.. brother, whatever, in Sarami's parents' mansion and the bloodline is secure too, because, well, just look at him. Full-on Żeleński armadillo! Like his dad, and grandpa, and then some other dead people. All's good. Aaaall thanks to Makduf.
She's just so very, awfully sorry...
Forgiven before the deed was even done. Shame she can't know of it though.
You know, despite how rude that person was to Alpha, he was cool with them, as long as they were helping uncle Axel feel better and kept him company. Axel seemed... well... OKAY with them around, plus Dick was an adult who knew how to tend to a sick person like him, while Alpha, well, he has to admit he has no idea how to go about that, so Dick was an acceptable person.
...But then he just disappeared. Alpha doesn't quite know why, but he knows that he left Axel alone, and that's quite enough to label Dick as an awful person. But if he wants to just up and leave a sick person alone, that's ok! Alpha's friends will be much better company for Axel anyway!
At first, Dick really did not like the idea of the child anywhere near Axel or himself but has well come to the understanding that the kid genuinely means well and no harm at all. Honestly with how overly 'knightly' the kid is, he is just setting himself up for pain in the future to come.
HIS SORTA-UNCLE, YEAH. A really nice person! ..Even if sick, both outside and inside. More and more each day. To the point where calling him a "really nice person" is way too much, considering what.. considering what Axel wants to do. It worries Alpha a lot, the state they are in, and they wish they could do something about it. His not-dad certainly could've with all that herb stuff, but he didn't! Not only did he.. die but also he could possibly be making Axel worse! What if it's that thing that Jescoe gave him that makes Axel think the way he does? He's.. he's gonna find out, and if it's not that, then.. then..
...Then he'll help Axel, because he promised. Axel knows his parents. If he says that they deserve death, then he.. must be right. He's an adult, he knows more about this, and Alpha is still his family, and if what he's done was wrong, then he'd want to make up for it by helping him get revenge. It's a good thing to do, being loyal to your family, right..?
Alpha is a growing boy that seems to have well found his place in this dark, dark world. That doesn't even that he doesn't still have a LOT to learn. Because those child fantasies of storybooks and knights is clearly twisting now that Alpha has been growing. Child logic turning to delusional and wrong ideas. Yes Axel cares about Alpha and he knows that the boy cares back. But after his last stunt, Axel is more than a /little/ hurt that the catmadillo took something so dear to him in a time of pain and grief.
...Who?
Oh wait. Right. They had like, boobs. And made ads. And talked to ceilings. I mean, like one word, but still. Like he doesn't remember much, but from what he can recall, they made for an okay conversation? Weren't an annoyance but not like, really boring either. Ok person, 2/10.
This guuuy! He was, uh, interesting. They met briefly in a cafe and left... well, quite an impression.
Honestly, Caek isn't quite sure what to think of the guy. Like... he didn't seem aggressive or... ACTIVELY rude or unpleasant but... very 'to-the-point'. Plus, she couldn't help but feel nearly every sentence from the guy was like a challenge of some sort... Somewhat provoking...
Strong dog from the beach! ...That probably hates her now. Or perhaps is dead. That beaver was quite... a character. And she left Caek there for them, not even asking Caek's name, in case she never returned from the beach alive. At least inside. Jee she wonders how that conversation went after she left.
...But yeah, if she were to meet Caek again she'd probably like, try to get to know them better. They seemed like a nice strong dog!
This person is obviously satan.
Okay, no, that's unfair, in the brief meeting that they had, Elec seemed perfectly pleasant. Indeed, they seemed on the same page for most of the conversation.
Aaand then Elec ran off and left Caek alone with one 'xBlackHeartx'. Truly, Elec must be the greatest deep-down evil.
(But nah, really she seemed pretty chill though.)
Literally who is that. Why are they making such a fuss over their weird book? Why were they so LOUD, and if they don't like being judged so much, then why PUBLISH the thing at all? If later you have to defend yourself from people who dislike it? This person is WEIRD. They literally have a pin saying 'trash' on their head, like, they must've put it there themselves, yet they act like they're some absolute royal trash.
...And the parts of book he read online were stupid too. It was all very lovey-dovey and there was a lot of people in there he didn't know and honestly he skimmed like half of every page. But at least next to those pages were ads to some sites full of weirdly-styled cartoons about 'average' high-schoolers or magical girls with make-up that changed into dresses or something. Kinda entertaining. At least that much good came from it.
He just... doesn't understand the art that is anime. He doesn't understand the powerful and passionate relationship between Irizaki and Puku, filled with twists and turns and love and lust! Star!Love: Boy Toy is the best anime This Year and he needs to be educated! AND! He doesn't believe her that her books are perfection? He DOUBTS Desmonia and her turmoil, her pain, her beauty, her desire to be with her True Love? Well, he's just dumba dn has yet to know what ART is, and ooooh man she's gonna SHOW him. And then she'll have another fan to weave into her wonderful web.
Oh, it's complicated, but at the same time it's not at all! Elec loves Milo dearly, but it's for so many reasons that it's almost hard to start. Meeting Milo was very sudden, as was sudden taking him in because of how scared she was that someone else might try to hurt him. But this short time was more than enough to start loving and caring and worrying for him for his innocence, his past awful experiences that should've never happened to any child, his simple adorableness, and for.. making her feel so much better about herself by simply being! But recent events make her worry. She can barely take care of herself, and she feels so vulnerable as if she was still a child - how is she meant to take decent care of him too? What does he think about her, after all this? Was it a mistake to take him in? He deserves so much better than... this. A single mother who's scared to face the outside world. And she can't even find him a father. But it's too late for all this now - Milo is her responsibility, and it's her duty to make sure he feels safe with her, as terrified for their future she might be. She knew it was going to end like that after all, didn't she? That it was only going to get harder. Despite everything, she's still determined to go through it all and make Milo's life a good one, just like he made hers so much better by just happening to be in it. She can still... try... to be a decent mother.
Momhog supreme. If there is one person on this entire globe that can make Milo feel at 100% ease and happy it's her. After everything had happened Milo never expected himself to ever warm up to anybody again, but he did big time to her. And the one time she said to maybe pass him on to an orphanage or so, made him feel so panicky and it made him state loud and clear that he wanted to stay with her. And for how deeply she cares and worries about him, the feeling is mutual. He might be young but he has picked up on the small avoidance of subjects and behavior regarding certain questions and he really wishes he could help her out as much as a child can that is. Because seeing her hurt about thoughts and memories hurts him.
Alpha misses Milo and really hopes they're doing alright. He's nice and reading stories with them was fun. A bit shy and scared of the world, but like... still cool! And Alpha just sort of... ruined his life. He didn't WANT to. But he realises it's kind of his fault, and he hopes uh... he hopes he can apologise one day and that... hopefully Milo doesn't think... he's a bad person. And Drastic isn't, either! Really! But... no matter what, they've hurt Milo a lot, and Alpha feels horrible with it. He'll try to think of ways to make it up for Milo...
If there is one thing Milo has in mind regarding Alpha, is the hope that he is safe and well, alive. That last time they saw eachother was so sudden and dire that he is unsure of what became of him. Milo very much wants to meet Alpha again, even if it's to put his own mind at ease and to know that he is safe and unharmed.
Elec is certainly confused. At first she thought the shark was, even if looking and acting kinda.. aggressively passionate about many things, just a troubled caretaker, worrying about her pupil. Now they are not worrying about them, for obvious reasons - even though Elec's kinda.. annoyed that they just refuse to take responsibility for Princess. It's still a child that needs help, and serious one too! You can't just go 'not my problem now cause she stabbed me', as ridiculous as that sentence sounds. Because she's sure they COULD help if they WANTED to. Nonetheless.. the buffshark seems to be nice, as long as Princess isn't mentioned! So, potential friend!
Whilst thankful for the assistance in searching for Princess, JC kinda regrets bothering to ask in the first place. Like, this chick seems nice, albeit... almost naievely positive about the whole ordeal?
Like, okay, so when Elec came back, she didn't know the hunt was off. Still, the shark feels she made it quite clear, after the leg-stabbing, she ain't interested in helping the kid no more. But she kinda suspected Electrisa to be the sort who'd... come back and tell her ANYWAY. Like the sort of person to be all 'Yeah but deep down you care'. Well she DOESN'T!
Though, uh, yeah, nothing against Elec, nice woman. Just, er, one she hopes sorta forgets about the whole 'Princess' ordeal.
A lost boy, stuck far and deep into Mel's memory. A child that really was worse for wear and felt almost painfully like a reminder of her self when she was younger. Honest to the gods has no idea if this child even made it to the end of that year.
Someone he's met a looong time ago back when he was a boy who could barely say a full sentence. He remembers that despite not spending much time with them, they were the first person who treated them.. sorta like a parent would treat their child, together with some other person whose name he can not remember. He remembers these two from time to time and wonders how they're doing now.
A good animal friend and somebody who comes across quite nervous. Luckily Atlanta found that the animal fact is something he can talk about with confidence and thus it is a subject she actively tries to bring up around him a lot since it seems he can talk about that with ease. Is very interested to learn more about him though, he is a cutey. But not the kind of cute to try and get to first base with. Plus with how nervous he tends to come across, it's better that she doesn't even try. At least he wants to help her with the aquariums in her bar!
Riley enjoys hanging out with Atlanta. He's mainly curious about her aquarium based bar which sounds like an absolutely wonderful place to him, but other than that she's just a pleasant person to talk to. He's kinda worried when she talks about regular bar brawls and such like it's no big deal, but, well, it's her business, she must know how to deal with stuff like that, he guesses. He doesn't really consider her a really close friend, but still a friend nonetheless.
Alpha is one of her best friends. Or well, the one she has opened up to the most and feels a bond with the young teen due to the similar nature of terrible dads. What tends to put her off though is that he is involved with the church and that just puts Star on a light edge. But Alpha seems to be so different, so happy and cheerful and positive! Plus so darn eager to learn and with interest in herbs! It is why she really enjoys his company and hopes to subtly get him out of the church little by little.
At least she can make him her apprentice in time!
One of Alpha's two adult friends who despite being adults act like mature children and are really fun! To some extent, Star reminds him of his not-dad, with the herbs and magic, and he's hoping he'll have the chance to learn some useful herb stuff from her as he once was learning from Jescoe. He's also curious about the conflict she had with her dad - he doesn't quite get the whole church stuff yet. Still, he finds Star to be super cool and she also teaches him a lot about how city and technology works, it's great! She also seems to be the more mature one out of her and Drastic.
Flix honestly worries Snowflake with his behavior, talking so easily about just killing somebody for her like no big deal. Friend, friend no don't calm. Does feel like there is an underlying kindness to the odd mara, even if it's buried very, very deep. She believes it will present itself sooner or later. And if that happens and he needs someone to babble to, she'll always be around.
She's.. nice. She makes Ernest happy, and that both makes Flix feel glad and jealous, but he can get over it for his brother's sake. Just like with Chant he can't quite get what makes them both love helping people so much, but he can admire their determination and positivity. Though sadly he does not find Snowflake as interesting as Chant. Perhaps it's because she's not a magic child. But he doesn't mind talking to her now and then.
