Mag Cultists
Fragments > Mag Cultists
Introduction
There are some Fragments who have abandoned their Timelines - or who never had any - in pursuit of the Magnitude Fragments: the most supreme beings, powerful repositories of magic, quite literally in many senses gods. As they are not a unified group, there are any individual sects: some worshipping certain Mags, others a pantheon, some with rituals, others with merely minor prayers... their scope is endless and varied.
But, collectively, they are known as Mag Cultists - and those who have forgone Fragment life completely in pursuit of their religion are kept here.
Structured Cults
The largest cults are those belonging to Shestiugolnik, Dijamant, Prizma, and Affine. All four are tended to directly by their patron Mag, and are filled with the bounties of their gods' respective support. Each sect has its own unique hierarchy, systems, and rules in place, though - of course - they all consider their patron to be the most beneficial.

Shestiugolnik's Hive
Introduction
The largest Mag Cult by sheer population, the Hive is Shestiugolnik's magnum opus - a collection of mortals dedicated to his cause of bettering life for them, linked forever in an enormous hivemind to share stories, knowledge, skills, and empathy. However, no Frags may be inducted into the Hivemind.
Most members choose to stay in their respective Timelines and receive (and give) resources and support to the rest of the Hive, though some select people may choose to join Headquarters, within a small Timeline Sessy crafted for that explicit purpose. Assume characters in this folder live at HQ.

The Diamond Collective
Introduction
Dij's small group of ~3,000 Timelines, the handful he was allowed to keep after Pyatiugolnik stepped in to temper his egomania. Though he is forbidden from expanding, the Collective is extremely loyal to its patron god and considers Dij, their Brilliance, to be worthy of near-worship. Several Frags are members, as well.
High-ranking members convene and live in the Collective's castle, in a pocket outside of time that Dijamant crafted. They petition Dijamant directly for support and to assist in problems within Timelines. As the Collective venerates independence, self-improvement, confidence, and autonomy, Dijamant does not always help.

Friends of Affine
Introduction
The Friends of Affine are a relatively new cult, centered around a mysterious young Mag named Affine. Its existence is contentious; Affine has never been recorded before in any research and many wonder if he's even a Mag at all, what with his nervous, withdrawn demeanor. Still, the Friends have formed a support circle for him, and devout themselves to helping him grow and socialize.
They are led by Ometeotl, their founder. His leadership takes a backseat to Affine's decisions, though, as he tries to help Affine develop into an independent Mag free of mortal (i.e. Frag) influence and thinking.

Worshippers of the Lily of the Sands
Introduction
Known by many names, Prizma's cultists are unique in that they are centralized to a single Timeline, where Prizma resides and reigns as their god. The most devout followers live in his desert temple at his side, helping to guide the nation as a whole and to tend to Prizma's needs.
They are typically mortals, with few Immortals and even less gods amongst them. Though they understand Prizma as a supreme deity, they do not consider him their worlds' creator. Still, he provides for them in times of need and personally oversees them, and deserves their reverence, respect, and worship.

Attendants of the Osculamdere Pavilion
Introduction
A small, secluded structure, with waterfalls cascading down sun-filled gazebos and temples. The Osculamdere Pavilion, notorious firstly for how difficult it is to locate and secondly for being shockingly chilly towards guests. It is a den of secrets, dedicated to cherishing and venerating Kolo's concepts - one of the rarer Mags to interact with the lower world, and therefore worthy of protecting.
It turns away most who manage to find its doors, disinterested in tainting the concept-filled, sacred ground of their temple. People who resonate with diamonds, however, always seem to get in. Fancy that!

Unorganized
Introduction
Members of small cults, or scattered individuals whose patron Mag is not worshipped enough to have a unified base. Though they are few in number, their dedication to their patron is unmatched, and they are typically talented experts in their Mags' concepts. Supplied with blessed objects and powers, they are certainly mystical.
Some are famous for their research and ability to communicate with their Mag, and may be called upon if any need their expertise and skill in invocation arises. However, as they have no loyalties to the COR, their work oft may find itself in the hands of the black market.
