What are your trademark character archetypes?

Aaa I like to have variety in my characters as much as possible but there totally are a few tropes I love too much:

- Nerds who won't stop talking once you've started them up on something they're interested in <3 <3 <3
- Seem like they're calm and collected and know what they're doing but actually stress and anxiety is a thing be nice to those poor kiddos
- Grumps who are not a fan of talking to people and then the silly friendly ones who bug them til they open up!!!

Let's see

-kuudere/tsndere introvert with bubbly extrovert 

-insufferable idiot genius

-pretty boys

-girls who could kill me

-characters who have to fucking earn their happiness, no free happy end giveaways from me

-strictly in AUs but master/servant so hardcore I will dig my own grave in it

I tend to create characters with something to deal with, everything from dead parent to something even worse.

I also tend to make them hate themselves or the world or other beings.

So basically depressed shy ones.. but I know then they will have something to work with, something to get through with the counterpart.

• very strong platonic relationships (in both the familial and bff sense) - if romantic feelings are involved, they're never reciprocated.
• characters who mean well but fuck everything up unintentionally and spectacularly
• girls or female-coded characters kicking ass and taking names
• characters who have no idea what is going on but are trying their damndest anyway. their efforts are always rewarded in unexpected ways.
• angery characters who care a lot. alternatively, unemotional, stern characters who theoretically care but you didn't know exactly how much until they literally died for you
• loners who only feel comfortable with a goal in mind, or when they're out in the open wilderness. i didn't mean to do this, it's just something I've observed.

OK, I know I have some of these. Let's see...

- badass tsunderes

- anxious, jumpy, shy nerds

- femme fatales

- rich bitches

- optimistic, go-getter heroines

- eccentric smart people

- sharp-dressed men, usually of the villainous persuasion

I of course try to make variations, but seriously.

oh man i def have types when it comes to my favorite characters and ones i make:

- big buffs, very strong but have a softer side if you know them
-buff girls
-BUFF GIRLS!!
- suits, everyone gets to wear a suit at least once
- flirty boys/pranksters who play like theyre all that and dont care but can actually be incredibly considerate
- anyone who seems like a jerk or into themselves until they fall in love and become a mushy romantic mess
- childish and cute people who are really hurt and broken inside

Girls who hand out with big scary monsters. It's just so fun to draw and write!

• "Hello, I had issues in my past and I use them as an excuse to be a jerk."
  
• "I probably have some issues but I'm in denial about them."
• "Wow, you mortals have issues. I'm glad I'm perfect. Unlike those other immortal people." - every immortal person
  

shy, cinnamon role characters who just want to study. often paired with an outspoken, rebellious character that's usually their sibling or partner

i think i have a lot of smug jerks

hmm, not too sure about my ladies atm but I think most of my guys are assholes :D
