In this fandom the characters are inspired by real composers so my Satie was inspired by Erik Satie ^.^ Mainly for some aspects of his personality and a few of his memories
Are any of your characters based on people in real life? Not necessarily the whole character, but maybe they share speech patterns with your friend, or personality quirks with your brother, or you gave them the same haircut as a girl in your class-- I'm just curious about the little ways we put our own lives into our characters!

I'm not naming any because they're technically not related at all anymore and if you have a quick look you'll probably figure it out but some of my OCs were made to be literally game devs. No catch. They were just them with different faces and magic and stuff.
In April last year I redesigned them because the implications of the concept started to scare me and they're different characters completely now, but their names still remain. Have you ever played Don't Starve? I have an OC literally named Klei.
her design isnt based off her, but orinas personality and pop star human equivalent is ariana grande, same clothes, same type of music, etc.
To be honest, I think 75% of my characters draw personality aspects from people I've personally known/know. But I think Ren takes the most from my friends. He doesn't have a bio yet, but I think I'll work on that now.
Based on my older sister. They're both super cool and smart. Come off as shallow and a bit airheaded but actually very intelligent. They just... like to have a carefree demeanor for some reason. Both are very active and social. I would normally struggle to write a character like this; most of my protags tend to be homebodies. Only reason I was able to write Avery as an outgoing person is because I grew up with one next to me all my life.
Mack here is heavily based on the song Mack the Knife by Bobby Darin, which in turn describes the exploits of a real man who was said to be Jack the Ripper.
She’s for jojo and since jojo characters take a lot of inspiration from musicians (like Josuke with prince) my girl marina is based on Marina and the Diamonds! Her stand is even named homewrecker!
Mockingbird's appearance is based on Paul Williams as he appeared in the film Phantom of the Paradise. His personality is influenced by a person I used to know.
Alluri is my persona’s boyfriend, and while I’m painfully single myself a lot of aspects about Alluri and his relationship with Shal is based on some of my closest friends. His name is accidentally one letter off from one of my best friends’ screennames (I named him before we met and it’s so weird to me that I managed to find such a good friend who shared a name with one of my favourite ocs), and from there I pretty much mixed little bits and pieces of most things and people I love into him somewhere.
I also have Ryan and Shane; their designs and stories are inspired by buzzfeed unsolved, and I named them after the hosts of that show because of this. And finally Saturn, who was designed as a memorial/tribute to someone in my family who died last year. She’s my way of coping with grief and keeping a part of the person I loved with me; I have another character like this to upload but I haven’t got around to it yet.
i actually have two characters that's based on one of my favorite singer-songwriters, mikael akerfeldt. mainly their appearance. but other than that, i LOVE to base off my character on some parts of me.
oliver is one! i did base off his appearance on one of his older looks, and i also based off his occupations and some of his personality on one of mikael's songs, which is a song about ghosts!! since i am an anxious person, i also based oliver's personality on some parts of my anxiety and some of my personality too. i'm not too happy with him having long hair, but i will definitely give him much more shorter hair and make him a bit more older.
wallace, i did also base off his appearance on one of mikael's outfits too, which is why his sunglasses are there. mainly his hair, some of his facial features, and sunglasses, are pretty much based on some of the features of his outfit. but other than that, his personality has nothing to do with i am, neither with his smoking. his low self esteem is pretty much based on how i am, since my ego isn't really that great either.
