Are any of your characters based on people in real life? Not necessarily the whole character, but maybe they share speech patterns with your friend, or personality quirks with your brother, or you gave them the same haircut as a girl in your class-- I'm just curious about the little ways we put our own lives into our characters!

Oh heck, there's a lot of them with some basis from me. My favorite foods, my music taste on a lot, the stuff I like and just yeah, it'd be a lot of work to list em all so well I'll stick with mentioning Vangoat since well, he was made based off me the most. Except the part of being a ghost, though at times I feel like one, but sadly during said times I don't get sick ghost powers.

personality wise, Rusty is (mostly unintentionally) based on two guys who sat behind me in a math class, who would talk nonstop about fortnite and titties and would constantly reference unfunny jokes they stole from Saturday Night Live and stupid stuff like that, even though i hated them they made for some really good inspiration LOL
this guy is kinda inspired by a guy in one of my art classes, he just sat around doing nothing because he didnt want to be there and he rarely talked but he seemed cool as hell and always wore cool semi-goth outfits and big rings and collars
Clover's personality is mostly a mix of me, my friend(s), and my favorite comedians
there are a lot of other little things i incorporate into my OCs but those are all i can think about now :p
Finch And a little bit of Nazca.
like finch nazca wears clothing I own, and his over all personally has aspects of my own that I built in to being a strange alien dude. He kinda represents the internal awkwardness of my personality that I keep to myself, and favors things I love or wish I could enjoy.
Also i threw in some dramatic polar opposites from myself to separate him from being another "direct sona" although I consider him a type of sona.
Jame was originally a custom commission I got, of which the perameters were "Just like James Euringer", but I liked him too much and gave the person a squirelle and kept him for myself :p

I have two personas. Professor Eidolon is more like me in the sense I basically hate everyone, and I rarely want to talk to people.

I based my first wizard oc off a guy I saw in a bus that was passing by, didn't see him very clearly since it was only a few seconds before the bus was gone, but it was mostly his style that inspired me to create this character.
He had that backwards snapback, glasses, headphones, semi-long hair and wearing a big hoodie
I turned that design into a modern young wizard who likes to earn money by cheating (using his magic) in gambling games
