The Pop-Quiz

Undoubtedly nervous, Luverne stood amongst bulky pouflons that held years of knighthood within their hooves. He didn't know why he was summoned by a random squire that appeared at his doorstep one day, but the artist hoped it was for something not troublesome.

Within the first two minutes of being in this expansive garden, the poor pouflon was thrown into a "test" by one of the knights just to get further access to his destination. Charging at full force, that old pouflon didn't allow Luverne to catch his breath. "Hahaha! You're a marvelous acrobat!" this knight barked. Luverne contoured and twist himself in ways thought not to be possible to avoid being trampled by this force!

What need was there to "earn" his way into a giant house Luverne had no intent to ever try to get into in the first place? He had every will in his mind to leave right back out. Alas, he managed to pass that "test", and his legs went against his desire to flee the scene, leading him through glass doors. Right between a lot more experienced guards did Luverne sit, with a whole load of stress to weigh him down in that spot.

His Princess was Here

"Did you hear what happened with her nephew?" one of the aged knights sitting on a sofa asked another that had sapphire eyes.

"You mean with Kindle? Yeah, I heard Kindle tried to hurt her little nephew with a golden bowl of pudding or something of the like," the sapphire eyed knight replied. This knight had his own golden bowl, however the contents were porridge.

"To be quite blatant, pardon what I'm about to say, but I believe Kindle should be put in... what's a nice way to say it... he should be thrown in the deepest dungeon that vespires can dig," the other knight, who had hot pink hair, scoffed. "Let me not even mention his father..."

"That sounds like a nightmare Kindle's father ranted about for the twentieth time during one of his parties. Maybe it'll come true for both him and his son?"

Luverne was astounded to hear these knights causally talk about throwing someone into a dungeon made by vespires! He surveyed the room to see if anyone else was disturbed by this, but all the other seasoned knights appeared to have slight smirks on their faces as if they were trying to hold back laughter. Who are these people?

Before the knights could continue making jokes about comparing this "Kindle" to a torch for his temper, they all hushed when a peculiar wind rushed passed their furry backs. Pink petals danced around the room, but there was not one window open. A sparkly hoof stepped through the doorway, and a pretty pouflon with a knitted crown upon her plush locks was revealed.
