Gem Hunting

The treasured hunter

Darkened blues and purples of the night sky were covering several polished gems that adorned a fury of plush fur. Rising out of the undergrowth, a frail figure wearing this fur cloak of gems tracked another crystal-covered creature into a cave this creature entered. Smoke started seeping out of the cloak, and a flickering of a flame faintly lit the dark tunnel.

The creature, not aware of being followed, paused when his nose caught a whiff of cinnamon.

"What class do you have hold of that allows you to judge others' status?" a deep voice growled coming from the creature's look-a-like.

Turning around to face this challenging doppelganger, the crystal-covered creature huffed scornfully at the scrawny shadow from this "threat".

"That single horn gives you such 'class' then, I take it?" asked the "threat". A shine of glasses flashed in the darkness, and a familiar face that was permanently blushed revealed itself within the light of a candle. Given right to hunt for jewels, this pouflon took this opportunity to seek a living set of gems and confront it face to face. He denoted this monster as a sparkling disturbance that needn't be in his way to get to the other side of the mountain.

To this disturbance, the treasure hunter snarled, "The ancestry your features mock no longer rule this land, and that is to say, you have no place to judge those that roam it."

The crystal adorned unicorn laughed once more at this twig trying to intimidate him. Had he a clue those jeweled scales might be in danger of being "collected" if this unicorn dared to continue to underestimate his look-a-like?
