For the knight quest: Lone Patrol

Guarding some cookies

Quietly tiptoeing his hooves closer to the source of a beautiful cookie smell, this big red guard peeked his face around the corner into a cool open area within that cave. There he could see her, the pouflon named Ginger Alice, but the one over what looked to be a strange an oven could not see Calvin. In this moment, Calvin put aside every meaning of being a knight, a pouflon, and a citizen in the mainlands. He threw it all to the abyss by his hooves sharping until they were long extensive claws, and his snout also reaching pass its previous length.

Walking unafraid to a hooded pouflon was a giant vespire with sparkling irises staring straight at the plate of freshly baked cookies. He stopped once he caught the doll-eyed glance of the startled baker.

"C-Calvin?!" Gladis cried out and took the hood of her fuzzy hooded sweater off her head. "You've found me again!"

"When those masterpieces of cookies gave me a call, there was no way I couldn't find you, Ginger Alice."

Gladis' eyes watered so much, she whimpered, "Are they really at all something you could even call food?"

Calvin gave Gladis a crooked smile and ran up to help himself to a good snack while on his unofficial lunch break. The immediate chomping of seven cookies all at once answered Gladis' question, and Calvin was given a much needed hug from this baker he found a week ago. Before he could finish the rest of the cookies, Calvin got an earful of a growl from Alpine resting on Gladis' back.

"Hey, tell your loupine he needs to share the wealth around here," Calvin grunted.

"I'm so happy you love the cookies so much," Gladis wept and snatched Alpine into her grasp instead of at all scolding him for growling. "I was just about to let Alpine have them since I thought they turned out terrible."
