Sia sat on top of a hill and looked down at the training ground that belonged to the night watch. She smirked. They looked like tiny ants from up here. It would take any of them hours to get to her spot. Her ability to teleport made her feel superior.

The pride was bustling with life. Commanders were training the new recruits. They were improving their strength and combat skills. There were no abnormal nightmares left to fight, but that didn’t mean they could rest and do nothing. There was still conflict in the world and their abilities were needed to bring an end to it. Though it was unlikely there could ever be true peace, they still had to try. Many lives were saved thanks to their efforts and even more minds changed. Lions were learning to live in a new reality, accepting each other no matter where they were born or what their eye colour was.

Wind blew, rustling her long, white fur. Things were looking up, so why was she feeling so melancholic? Even though there were more members than ever in the watch, in this moment she felt very alone. Her blind eyes followed soft, white clouds slowly moving across the empty blue sky. A contrast to the image below. The one person she cared about the most was not here with her to enjoy this view.

She closed her eyes. Paradoxically, it was when they were closed that she could see the most. And she felt it. His love. He was still a part of her and always would be. She smiled to herself and teleported back to the headquarters. Someone had to teach those newbies.
