ValCorp

ValCorp, Inc is an innovative company for the discerning investor. There are many choices for GEGM, and ValCorp, Inc is the upcoming forerunner in affordability. Their main office has recently relocated to Silverbrook, CA, but their global contacts ensure their endurance. Lyrca Seerear, President and Chief Executive Officer, is world-renown for her business acumen and scientific accolades.

Office hours are 0800-1600 by appointment only.

Valcorp, Inc is a company that is directly competing with the Academy in regards to the creation of Companions.

There are rumors that Valcorp has direct ties to the military, and is creating Companions as part of a Super Soldier Program, but none of these rumors have been validated.

Valcorp's first truly bad press came when a number of their specimens managed to escape their facilities and rampaged through Silverbrook. They blamed rogue environmentalists who released these Companions as an act of terrorism.

Unlike AAA, Valcorp is far more focused on scientific progress than they are on the well-being of their charges. Companions are seen as experiments, rather than as children, and are treated accordingly.

Though the RP team is purposely not going into a ton of detail on Valcorp, many of the users have begun giving the agency a tone. In summation, the scientists run a number of tests, focusing on giving the Companions a purpose or task...akin to programming. They are very clear with their experiments that they are NOT human, they are LESSER than human, and should be treated accordingly.

This setting is so that some of our players' darker tendencies and stories can still occur. If you are looking for darker story arcs with less immediate consequences, Valcorp may be the setting for you.

If you are looking to adopt a Companion from Valcorp then all you really need is a wad of cash. They can be persuaded to overlook criminal records and other issues the Academy will not, for the right price.

The Companions at Valcorp have often been conditioned for certain 'jobs' (guard dogs, security, companionship - in all senses of the word- service animal, etc) Once paperwork is filled out it is the adopter's job to bring the Companion back for regular checkups and treatments.

So long as the Companion is not killed, they really won't say too much. These pets are there to do a job, and sometimes that can cause injuries.

have NO say whatsoever in their own adoption process. After all, they are pets to be bought.
