First Tongue

IN SOME PLACES OF THE WORLD, there is a language called the First Tongue, which is now forgotten by many creatures who've found their way into society. In the beginning of Nova Cael, it was used to communicate with animals from other species such as birds, reptiles, etc. Now, the only ones who are able to speak the First Tongue with some decency are the families of The Middle, including the Bilel family. A few words are left from the First Tongue, and those few are the only ones all animals understand. Meat-hunters are able to understand some words from each others' languages. Plant-seekers are unable to understand meat-hunter languages and vice versa.

To create adjectives, you combine words - for example, hunter (you) would be mrowrir and hunter (me) would be mrowrger.
