Artefacts

Artefacts

Artefacts are items that belong or have belonged to the gods, now in the realm of mortals for various reasons. Some were stolen, some were gifted and some simply forgotten by their owners. All artefacts possess a mild level of khana essence, which means that they often give their owners supernatural abilities. However, some artefacts are more powerful and dangerous, despite seeming useless at first.

Many who try to find the artifacts fail miserably, as they ignore old sailors' and treasure hunters' warning: "Those who wish to uncover an artefact must go on a glorious journey worthy of a tale of 1500 words!"

Ancestral Artefacts - of the ancestral gods

Crown of Stars

A spiked crown with obsidian jewels that is rumoured to be made of stardust - in other words, the essence of the dead. Once belonged to Bevan, the artefact fell down to Urdus after the battle with Tangrum. Rumoured to be hidden in the deepest of woods of the east, waiting to find a new owner. The exact location is unknown but it's said that terrifying creatures are attracted to the dark energy the crown radiates.

Some assume that this artefact gives you the ability to speak to the dead. Others assume it was purely decorative. Currently, the artefact remains unfound.

Cloak of Clouds

A mantle of clouds, once belonged to the sun god Tangrum; once used to hide him from mortal eyes as he walked the sun through the sky. However, the cloak has lost its original powers due to the radiation of the sun and was thrown away by tangra. It's said the cloak is somewhere high on Urdus, up where only the griffin's horses can reach. You might want to bring a few treats for this journey. The unreachable awaits.

Many assume that this artefact gives you the power of invisibility. Currently, the artefact remains unfound.

Necklace of the Last Light

A shining necklace made of precious stones from all over the continent, belonging to the protector of balance - Shreya. It's said that the young goddess has left it in her precious flower gardens and that only the purest of hearts can open the shell that protects it. Be careful not to harm any of the residents there, little one. She might not take any harm done to her favourite beings lightly.

Many assume that this artefact gives you eternal beauty and youth. Others assume it was purely decorative. Currently, the artefact remains unfound.

Armour of Ghosts

It's believed that Bevan's army had armour crafted by the dead, specially made to resist and stay put through everything their owners put it. Once a soldier died, pieces of armour fell down to Urdus from the sky. Only two full suits were saved from the fall and a certain bloodline from The East might've taken them and hidden them well. You might want to steady your heart if you wish to find one. Your ancestors await.

Many assume that this artefact gives their owner the strength of a hundred dead men when worn. Currently, the artefact remains unfound.

Nightwalker

Armour made of volcanic rock, rumoured to have once belonged to the legendary Janusii. A pile of thin, matte material that seems to suck in the light around it.
