Sidhe

sidhe is one of the species from the uncharted lands, a large, multi-limbed, cyclopic caterpillar creature, of which only a few have the privilege of metamorphosis. sidhe was probably never cut out for that.

the definition of a gentle giant. sidhe’s species, the ‘saksila’ in their native tongue, are often rough-mannered and intimidating. for a long time, the saksila have had a special sort of pact with witches. in return for copious resources, they would provide witches with various services and knowledge of their territories. sidhe wasn’t supposed to be a candidate at first, but it seemed his clan simply sent him off to be rid of him. who can blame them? it’s not like he was very useful to the clan in the first place… sigh…

even so, it seemed he wasn’t so useless after all. the newly revived witch proved to be very kind to him, and showed him patience through his clumsiness. in a way, he’s thankful his clan abandoned him, because she treats him better than any of them ever did.

turns out, assisting the witch doesn’t take up that much of his time at all. sidhe found himself gaining a shocking amount of free time, most of which he spends holed up in his little starter apartment, sheepishly exchanging gifts with neighbors and watching “Videos” on his “Smart Device”. it’s a real big world out there, with fast metal contraptions and more people in one place than he’s ever seen, and he needs a bit of a moment before he steps in..!
