can and will bite your fingers off. probably already has. bubbles is what one would call a ‘feral’ merman — solitary, often aggressive merfolk that show no interest in socialization, and live solely for personal survival. much like most merfolk in this situation, bubbles was isolated from his family. before his birth, his clutch was raided by wild animals, and he was one of the very few survivors. through sheer luck and a lot of tenacity, bubbles managed to survive into adulthood, though he has become highly aggressive as a result. the brackish lake around atargatis island, though a popular spot for tourists and other merfolk, is a dangerous place. as a result, he would scare off anyone that came near his territory. really, he only learned enough spoken tongue to tell others to fuck off.

it is only recently that he came into contact with other living beings, that didn’t involve him eating them. though, he’d be lying if he said he wasn’t considering it at first. only occasionally nowadays. bubbles was promptly plucked from the ocean, and currently has to figure out a way to live on land. his new roommates don’t make it awfully hard on him, though. as it appears, with his joints the way they are, bubbles can’t seem to be able to walk, even with transformation spells. he doesn’t complain about his new wheelchair in the slightest, though. his roommates do. he likes to run over people’s toes.

hot-headed, malicious, and overall unpleasant to be around when he’s hungry. too bad for his surroundings, bubbles seems to always be hungry. there is a sentimental side tucked away somewhere, but it’s deep in there, and hasn’t had an excuse to come out yet. will the polycule be able to figure out what it’ll take? mm, on second thought, probably not.
