A 20 year old prodigy whose almost instinctual understanding of the Mist intimidates the rest of the organization almost as much as her deeply classified crimes in her time as a Rift, the only reason she hasn't been fired or worse is that she always, always gets the job done.That and the small but vocal faction in Gatekeeper command who sees her as an almost "Chosen One" figure, destined to reverse the decay of the Mist and bring a new golden age to the Gatekeeper organization.Because just about everyone she works under considers her either a dangerous and malevolent sleeper agent, a destined savior, or just plain annoying, she gets sent pretty much exclusively on seemingly impossible suicide missions, hence the moniker.

She's upbeat, eccentric and progressive, the last thing one would expect out of a Gatekeeper. She does, however, have mystery and vague creepiness down pat.

For her part, she doesn't want to take apart the Mist from the inside or lead it into a new golden age, she just wants to do her job. She just wants do what she can to make up for what she did and stop it from happening again.

A powerful reality warping force with a tendency towards obscuration and normality which pervades her home of The City. The Mist is generally not useable outside of that realm. However, Ms. Martinez functions as a very effective generator of the stuff. Effective enough to render this limitation effectively moot.

MOVE 1Mending
Her ability to cause supernatural or superscience phenomena to be rendered mundane. This allows her to nullify powers and alter the nature of things that require such abnormality to exist. The more fantastical the thing the more creative liberty she has when normalizing it.

Her ability to use the Mist as a sensor, allowing her to pick up on even small conversations in spaces with enough of the stuff, but generally just giving her the ability to get a "read" on the metaphysical nature of a location.

Her ability to use the Mist to alter Baseline reality. Primarily used to teleport and heal herself. She also has the unique ability to use it to, particularly in areas of unstable reality, to "retcon" herself into events on the perifery of the timestream.

Her ability to use the Mist to draw attention away from things, and cause forgetfulness. As this is the Mist's most basic function it often works on it's own when she is in particular danger, even when she is unconscious
