Very little is known about The Wheel of Fortune, even their true name is unknown to most, as they prefer to introduce themselves by pseudonyms such as Lady Luck, Jack Pot, Nat Twenty and RNJesus. One of the few things that is known about her is that she is an archon, a former angel that attained godhood in her own right. In his case, he served the goddess of fate before separating with her thanks to philosophical differences.

  • Personality: Rhu-Let has a cocky and confident game show host persona, full of drama and bluster. Beneath the surface however, is a mess of insecurities and fears. This is not to say Rhu is without ambition or confidence, or regrets her post as a god. Quite the opposite in fact. He enjoys helping people, but his help can come with consequences as luck is a fickle thing, and in the end the house always wins.
  • Abilities:

    Can make various objects (generally simple props: notepads, signs, magnifying glasses etc. Never weapons.) appear. Takes them from a demiplane where he stores these things rather than making them from nothing. By summoning doorways, gates, windows, etc. she can open connections to this place. She does not actually have any additional power in this realm, but she has set up a number of sets with mechanisms and effects easily triggered by her powers designed to give that impression


    Can alter reality in simple and mundane ways. When something is already likely to happen he can make it happen, if he is fighting his opponent in a thunderstorm, then he could make lightning strike them. She also floats everywhere. Because of his unique anatomy, if someone was to disrupt his levitation, he would be in pretty hot water. Unable to do basically anything but roll (very uncomfortably, her nucleus is not meant to touch the ground) and use her abilities to impact her environment. Because his hands are not attached, he couldn't even crawl.

  • Fate Rhu has deep philosophical differences with the domain of his former master. A belief that a single predestined path can only be oppressive.
  • Nothingness Rhu's dislike of the concept of nothing is more a fear than a disagreement or disgust. The concept of absolute conceptual vaccuum terrifies her.
  • Fear Itself Rhu absolutely despises the fact that fear has a foothold in his heart, so to speak. He often feels it is the only thing holding him back.
  • Being Disrespected Just as she loves being respected and seen as her own person, her own god, so does she despise being lumped in with Fate, her former master.

  • The symbols on his wheel can change depending on mood or intent, there is no limit to what the symbols can change into. Colors can even change.
  • Rhu has access to a pocket dimension, from which she takes the objects she summons.
    • She can open doors into this dimension.
  • Dwells, along with the other Archons, in a realm called Taro Archona beyond the span of all Heavens.

Story

I. Past

7777777 years ago the goddess Fate created a servitor, one of many, all wheels, to represent the turning of time and the recurrence of all things as well as the way things appear from a higher dimensional, nonlinear perspective. All things turn, and this recurrence was one of the things Fate kept in mind when designing her servitors. Rhu-Let was among Fate's greatest servants, and a friend to her sister Knowledge. In the early times, Fate balanced her duty with a sense of fun, and a close relationship with her sisters. Rhu, above all other servants, saw this side of their creator, often joining Fate and Knowledge in games and pranks against their fellow gods.

Separation

That was until something Knowledge did had consequences. She stole Fire from the gods and gave it to mortals. The Higher One Rex Deus banished her from Heaven and into the nothingness to decay. And Fate, Fate just watched. She refused to change the timeline, even to save her own sister. After that, she was a lot more withdrawn, focused entirely on her work. Eventually, Rhu decided to leave her, to weave a new force into the cosmic tapestry, opposed to the inevitable progression of Fate. And thus was Luck created as a concept. Eventually Rhu joined the other Archons of the multiverse in Taro Archona, gaining a new peer group.
