• Solid, muscular build - more muscle mass in his torso and arms than his legs

  • Sometimes wears a blindfold for cosmetic purposes
• Mouth torn out of shape by fishhooks; hard to tell whether he's happy or upset
• Scars from polar bear fight on the left side of his head
• Fishhook scar on the right side of his upper jaw
• Repurposes found objects into clothing

  • Fingerless diving gloves, taken from someone who ran into him when he was hungry

• His automatic obedience and general silence lead people to assume he's a moron ("dumb muscle"), but he's perfectly intelligent

  • It wasn't so bad when he spent all his time in the pitch black depths of the ocean, but as long as he makes trips to the surface part of him wishes he could see
• Wherever he is, he would rather be in the subfreezing water 2,000 feet below the surface of the Arctic Ocean
• Normally moves slowly and cautiously so he doesn't slam headlong into things
  • Some people then assume that escaping him is as easy as sprinting away and leaving him in the dust

    • The result is best explained as either an R-rated version of "The Tortoise and The Hare" (where the tortoise slaughters the hare when it catches up), or a dramatic reenactment of It Follows

• While the two were relaxing on a boat in the open water at night, Ingran approached from beneath and set their boat's engine on fire out of jealousy and spite
