Short, squishy borb
Has one giant mitten hand and one hook hand
Has one silly drumstick foot and one peg leg
Has one big ol' googly eye and one gem eye
- The gem can be swapped out for other gems!
Has a stretchy gular sac that inflates whenever he wants it to (usually for "dramatic" effect)
- It's really glittery and seems to be full of confetti, which is visible when he inflates it
Always wears a lot of jewelry, covered in shiny things
- Gold earrings
- Compass around a chain on his neck
- Gold ring
- Gilded hook hand
- Gilded tip to his peg leg
- Gilded buttons on his coat
The feathers on his head and neck resemble dreadlocks
Carries a satchel where he stores things like treasure maps and sand dollars

Adventurous
Giant ham of a pirate
Overly confident in a comical, cartoonish way
- He'd definitely be the cartoon pirate captain whose harebrained schemes to get more treasure land his crew in all sorts of trouble each episode
Bouncy and excitable, usually flopping around for some reason or another
Extreme goober, would like you to think that he's a capable and confident pirate captain when he's honestly kind of a weenie
Collects money and valuables not because he wants to be wealthy, but because they're pretty and shiny

Anything glittery and/or shiny
- Cartoon treasure chests get him unreasonably excited
The excitement and novelty of going on a treasure hunt
Fish! They're sparkly and delicious!
Looking theatrical
Sword fights! He loves his hook-hand-compatible cutlass.

Falling into the ocean (he can't really swim)
Discovering that other treasure hunters got to a stash before he did
People making fun of his silly pirate flag, or the fact that he named his ship Glitterbug
Seaweed. It's like ocean snot.

Absolutely talks like a cartoon pirate
Smells like ocean and antique furniture
He can screw other attachments into the base of his hook hand, like swords, hammers, and much more!
Calls his ship's crow's nest the "Babs nest"
- Glitterbug is indeed based on a historic frigate (albeit much less large and majestic than actual frigates)
