Nerita

As one of my personas, Nerita is basically me as a dragon.

She tries her best to be kind and considerate to everyone she meets, but she has trouble picking up body language so can come off as rude or ignorant. She’s very intelligent but struggles with anxiety, and is constantly pushing herself to do better. She’s the mom friend of her group, and is always ready to share advice, trivia and memes. She loves creating things and giving them to her friends. Her moral compass is strong, and will override her loyalty to her friends in some situations. She loves heights, flying, and swimming, but has a phobia of ants.

Her wings are hydrophobic, meaning they repel water. This is very useful for when she's swimming, or flying in the rain, because her feathers won't get waterlogged. She has webbed feet, semi-webbed hands, gills, and transparent nictitating membranes, or 'third eyelid'.

She got the scar on her chin in a childhood accident which she remembers nothing about, and the scars on her foot are from accidentally kicking a barnacle-encrusted rock while swimming in strong swells.

DESIGN NOTES: She's very slender, but has broad shoulders from swimming and flying often. She's also mostly flat-chested. Her feet are wide and webbed, they act pretty much like flippers underwater.
