Chrysocolla

Chrysocolla is a small, narcissistic gem with a superiority complex. She’s ill-tempered and throws tantrums if anyone talks smack about her, but in truth she’s fragile and just wants validation. She can manipulate rocks and soil, much like a Lapis can manipulate water, but her powers are weak and only work for small quantities at a time.

She’s just a prototype and is well aware of this, so she did her absolute best to impress the Diamonds back on Homeworld. However, they barely even noticed she was there, and eventually she became majorly depressed. When she heard about Sky Diamond and her acceptance of rogue or defective Gems, she knew that that was where she had to go to get the approval she’d been seeking all her life.
