Pyrite

A perfect Pyrite from the batch Pink Diamond nicknamed Fool’s Gold, she worked for millenia as the captain of an exploratory spaceship, seeking out new worlds in the darkest corners of space for the Diamonds to colonise. Her ship was massive, carrying supplies to establish communications, warp pads, and other essential faculties, but housed only a handful of crew. Some time after the disappearance of Pink Diamond, but centuries before the birth of Steven, Pyrite’s ship vanished. No communications were received, and the last known location was from years prior. Many decades later the ship reappeared, except the crew were no longer loyal to the Diamonds. Something happened during the vanished period that caused the crew to question the Diamond’s rule, and to question themselves.

Pyrite’s ship is now a fearsome pirate vessel, attacking any Homeworld ships it comes across, and leaving few survivors. Pyrite rules her ship with an iron fist, but always keeps an ear open for her crewmember’s concerns. She’s intense and volatile, but also fiercely protective of her crew, and more than willing to give her life to protect them. It’s best not to get on the wrong side of her cutlass - she’s a tiny ball of fury that will not hesitate to stab you.
