Biological Notes
A race of feathered humanoids, Flights are the most well-spread of the races brought into existence. While the versatility of Humans grant them a greater stability in all manners of environments, the strength of flights flows like the birds they originate from, entering and leaving areas when best convenient.
Curiously, Flights have a deep connection to their environment and nature, similar to other races connected to the current state of Anthromimesis. As it has been noted that as different breeds and species have gone extinct, so to have the Flights associated to them shortly followed. Curiously, these connections include the nature of these Avians, such as how birds known for singing, they too might develop a love of music or performances.
It is believed that the Flight's greater aptitude for magic, compared to other races who are effected by Anthromimesis, comes from the Old God of Life, Krievy. Specifically, the leading theory suggests that birds who had come across Krievy's magically-unstable body had feasted upon like most animals in the area, but more specifically being able to pierce the skull and consuming their brain for insights above all others.
Social Notes
- Depending on a series of genetic or social factors, Flights might choose to associate with different terms. Most common of these being 'Valkyrie'.
- There is a bizarre history with groups of flights known as 'Angel Cults' and the demons of the Drifting. In effect, these cults do whatever they can to take the attention and magic methods demons have spent countless millennia perfecting and thus incur their rage more often then not.
