Lysander

an absolutely insufferable figure, LARPing nobility along with the rest of the mollusc court. lysander has been spoiled every second of his life, be it by his parents or his various servants. a being of radiant beauty and quite aware of it, lysander has managed to wrap most of the older people in his life around his pinky, but annoys his peers to no end. nevermind his piss-poor reputation among his fellow youths, lysander managed to secure himself quite the prestigious position. through the classic technique of knowing a guy who knows a guy, lysander is now in a high ranking office concerning merfolk migration on land. a sort of lobbyist, perhaps, lysander’s job ensures him the privileges of walking on land as he pleases, and considers himself quite the commodity. begrudgingly, everyone must admit that the pompous glittery jerk is quit competent at what he does. everyone but the merfolk, that is.

a completely despicable being. lysander considers himself superior to most, when really, he’s not much more than a cowardly snob. certainly, he is an expert at manipulation, gathering information, and sweet-talking if need be. but as many people as he manages to sway, it is surprisingly easy to poke through the thin veil of his nerves, and break his ego where he stands. when out of his rhythm lysander becomes quite useless and easily nervous, but of course, his various retainers make sure he’s kept quite comfortable, indeed.
