My speculations about what Great Adventure will add as part of its 50th anniversary (based on a corresponding teaser campaign on Twitter/X), plus my reactions to/analysis of the official announcement made by Great Adventure regarding their new additions. Originally posted on my Tumblr.

!!PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE PROCEEDING!!

This story is about SteVe's thoughts regarding what's happened to Top Thrill Dragster since the August 2021 incident and the subsequent retirement of TTD "as we know it". Though the story never explicitly says what happened that day, it does allude to it and talks about how the other Coasterdroids reacted to it, TTD included. These elements are "baked" into this story and as such cannot be completely removed. Because of these factors, I must include a disclaimer that "Race For The Sky" was not written with the intention to make light of what happened that day or was written with any malicious intent on my part. If there is anything that you find to be in poor taste, please let me know and I will try to alter the story in the best way I can, as I would like to save it before scrapping it outright. Thank you for your understanding.

Cedar Point was making steady progress on adding their "eighteenth" coaster, Wild Mouse. But what would normally be an exciting prospect for SteVe was muddied by the fact that one of the soon-to-be seventeen Coasterdroids who called this park home had vanished…

!!PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE PROCEEDING (ALSO INCLUDES STORY-WIDE CONTENT WARNINGS)!!

This story is about my El Toro personification breaking his leg and the aftermath of it, a parallel to what happened to the coaster back in August 2022. Though the story never explicitly says what happened to El Toro's coaster, it does allude to it. Addtionally, the story contains discussions whether Toro's coaster has/has not been neglected by the park. Both of these elements are "baked" into this story, and as such, cannot be completely removed. Because of these factors, I must include a disclaimer that "Red-Tagged" was not written with the intention to make light of what happened that night or was written with any malicious intent on my part. This story is meant to be an examination of how Toro (and the other Coasterdroids of Great Adventure) would react to a situation that parallels what happened with the coaster, as well as serve as an AU to the events of "Tricks and Turns". If there is anything that you find to be in poor taste, please let me know and I will try to alter the story in the best way I can, as I would like to save it before scrapping it outright. Thank you for your understanding.

Now that I've gotten that out of the way, here are some general content warnings for Red-Tagged;

Content Warning: This story contains explicit details of a character breaking their leg, depictions of a character vomiting, discussion of drugs/drug use, explicit details of a character struggling with depression, explicit discussion of suicide, characters getting into a physical altercation, explicit depiction of a character losing consciousness, discussions of physical injuries, elements of body horror, mentions of a character having a panic attack, themes of existentialism, depictions of blood, discussions of death, depictions of character in emotional distress, and explicit depictions of a character moving on into a (supposed) afterlife.

!!!If any of this stuff has the potential to make you uncomfortable, I advise you to not read this story!!!

In a parallel universe to Tricks and Turns, JDC was stopped in his tracks before he could do much with his RMC conversion machine. But even in Toro’s success in destroying JD’s plans, he’s burdened by misfortune once again when he breaks his leg. Suddenly, it feels as if everything Toro knew about himself has been thrown out of the window. Can Toro go back to the way things were? Or will he have to face some hard truths if he ever wants to truly heal?

!!PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE PROCEEDING (ALSO INCLUDES DOCUMENT-WIDE CONTENT WARNINGS)!!

As stated previously, Tricks and Turns was supposed to be my big multi-chapter story for my coaster personification characters (specifically the ones based on coasters at Six Flags Great Adventure); It was to be written like your standard chapter book. However, due to a variety of reasons I made the decision to cancel T&T. But there's more to T&T than the (technically) finished main story.

In addition to the main T&T story, I also had ideas for "flashback" stories that took place in this universe and stories based on an alternate universe where everything was "fixed" (think of it as the "golden ending" fix-fic for Tricks and Turns and the parks outside of it)-- aka, the first two pages of this literature piece. I wrote them just before I started working on T&T's chapter summaries in 2020. With T&T's cancellation came the cancellation of the flashback and alternate universe stories. But after publishing T&T's chapter summaries to the public, I figured that people would be interested in seeing this "bonus content". As such, the third & fourth pages were added on in August 2022 as I revisited the original concept for the flashback and alternate universe story "blurbs".

Now that I've gotten that out of the way, here are some general content warnings for T&T's Flashback and Alternate Universe stories;

Content Warning: This document contains swearing, explicit details of injuries, explicit depictions of violence, discussions of death, implied death, explicit depictions of death, and depictions of characters struggling with mental health.

(Note: Additional CWs will be provided on a page-by-page basis).

!!!If any of this stuff has the potential to make you uncomfortable, I advise you to not read this story!!!

What lies beyond the story of "Tricks and Turns" as you know it? It's time to get a glimpse into the past and take a look at some alternate worlds. How about a universe where Nitro is themed to Superman? If AstroWorld's XLR-8 made the trip up east? Or if Great Adventure got a clone of the famous Coney Island Cyclone made by Dinn Corp?

Throughout the years I’ve considered myself a roller coaster enthusiast and been involved in the roller coaster personification community, I’ve noticed that most people outside of the community don’t understand why someone would want to personify roller coasters, so let's examine the reasons why I personally enjoy personifying roller coasters.

Let's take a look at the criteria that I personally think leads to a wooden coaster being considered for an RMC Hybrid Conversion. After that, we'll look at the coasters I think should be RMC'd eventually. Finally, we'll look at the future of RMC and Wooden Coasters as a whole.

Content Warning: This story contains explicit depictions of body disfigurement, characters being put in extreme physical pain, characters being put in extreme emotional pain, a character entering a state of psychosis, and depictions and discussion of reality breaking/degrading through supernatural means.

An accompanying story to go with my Halloween 2022 piece; What happens when JDC uses an alternative method to RMC Toro's coaster after Toro had destroyed his conversion machine?

(A non-canon addition to the "Tricks and Turns" universe)

Tricks and Turns was supposed to be my big mutli-chapter story for my coaster personification characters (specifically the ones based on coasters at Six Flags Great Adventure); It was to be written like your standard chapter book. However, due to a variety of reasons (which can be found here; https://toyhou.se/~bulletins/609589.-what-s-next-for-tricks-and-turns- ), I made the decision to cancel T&T. At the time of T&T's cancellation, I had already completed an 85-page "story summary" document, which contained a summary of all 53 chapters (including a "bonus" 54th chapter that contained a list of all the ideas that were altered or outright cut from the story). Since so much work had already been done on T&T, I figured releasing the material I had would be the best thing I could do since I knew I wouldn't be able to fully write T&T out.

Technically, T&T is finished- in terms of content. Everything that was going to be properly written out is included here. However, the format that it will be presented in publicly is not the format that I intended it to be in originally. Because of it's nature as a "story summary", it's a lot of describing how a scene will play out, what a character will say/do, how it will affect the character, etc. instead of the scene simply playing out. Please keep this in mind when reading the chapter summaries for T&T. Also, please don't ask me if I will ever return to T&T (outside of posting the chapter summaries). The answer is (and always will be) no

Now that I've gotten that out of the way, here are some general content warnings for T&T;

Content Warning: This story summary contains swearing, explicit details of injuries, explicit depictions of violence, implied sexual situations, mild sexual jokes, discussions of death, implied death, explicit depictions of death, and depictions of characters struggling with mental health.

(Note: Additional CWs will be provided on a chapter-by-chapter basis).

When Jersey Devil Coaster joins the lineup of Six Flags Great Adventure, the lives of the people behind these coasters are forever shaken up (and we're not talking about the humans who designed, built, and ride them)! JD is immediately enamored with the company that made him, that being RMC. Some of his neighbors tolerate this love, but some (like the sole wooden coaster in the park, El Toro), don't. Is JD nothing more than a mere annoyance...or a genuine threat to wooden coasters everywhere?

SteVe reflects on Wicked Twister’s untimely death and how it’s affected him (or, more accurately, how it hasn’t affected him). Also, SteVe takes the day to visit his coaster’s trains in the new “Marina Maintenance Shop” stop for his fourth Winter Chill Out in a row. But the question stands...are those trains still located in the Amazement shop?

I was inspired by Airtime Thrills’ “The Coaster That Every [Park Chain Name] Park Needs The Most” series; more specifically, the criteria he uses to gauge which coaster he thinks a park should get next (Airtime, Wooden, “Not On Track”, Standout, Spinner, Launch, Multi-looper, Launch, and Family (tho this last criteria is only present in the independent parks video)). However, this document isn’t going to detail my opinions on what park should get what. Instead, I’m going to create what I think would be the “Ideal” coaster lineup that a park could have, a “condensed” version of the lineup, and state which real-life park(s) are the closest to the lineup. Besides outlining each coaster type below, the only criteria I have for this list is to stick within 10-15 coasters. So, what would be included in the “perfect” coaster lineup?

After months of anticipation, Jersey Devil Coaster is ready to begin testing. With a sharp eye spotting the coaster’s train strolling through its station, Nitro rounds up the rest of her neighbors to watch this historical moment take place. Not only does this mark an important step in the coaster’s construction, but it means that the associated coasterdroid is now conscious and semi-aware of their surroundings…

I was inspired by Season 2, Episode 16 of the Coaster Kings Radio podcast (“Is this a Credit or Nah?”), so a lot of the options I present here were also discussed in that episode. I usually follow what RCDB lists on their site, but I know that they aren’t the only word on what/what doesn't count as a credit. Generally, I feel like my opinions on what counts as a credit or not fall with the majority opinion, but I have some deviances. Also, lmk if there are any other coasters/types of coasters that I left off the list that you want to hear my opinion on!

SteVe makes the trek to Cedar Point’s “Amazement Shop” during the park’s “Winter Chill Out” off-season event for the third year in a row. After an unusual operating season, SteVe wants nothing more than for things to return to normal (or as close to normal as the world allows it to be). However, SteVe must face another change in his life...and deal with all the problems that have been accumulating over the past year.

With the 2020 season coming to a close, Jersey Devil Coaster resumed construction just as the world feared that it would be delayed once again. After Nitro finishes a photoshoot of the in-construction coaster with Bizarro, she has a conversation with Runaway Mine Train about how uncontrollable the life of a roller coaster can be. Once Nitro returns to JDC’s structure later in the day, she gets a glimpse into the future.

This is a guide to the "ins-and-outs" of the universe that my roller coaster personifications (aka "Coasterdroids") live in; anything you could have questions for is(or should be)answered here. For more information on specific Coasterdroids, I encourage you to check out the character bio of the Coasterdroid you're looking for. (Note: This guide was written in early January 2020 over the course of two weeks.)
