Hareryuu Ah, thank you for letting me know! It's hard to keep up with everyone @_@
PastelPrinceDan Welcome! Thank you for offering! I'll add you to the list :)
Hey! I'm not sure if this is the right spot to post this, but I think it'd be cool to have a place for bilingual people to translate some cool phrases or words for creations. Personally I'm looking to see if someone can correctly translate "You can't handle the truth" from English to Latin.
I'm not bilingual myself, unfortunately, but maybe others who want correct translations can build this post up and help each other.
So what kinds of things do you want translated for your creations and how do you use them? I like using phrases or words to create names or locations :)
Edit: Wow, this post blew up more than I originally thought it would! From now on, I'll try to list the languages and the users that speak said languages below to make it easier for others to find the proper person they need! If there's any problems at all with what's listed, please let me know and I'll change it ASAP. If there are languages that are together that the native speakers suggest be separated, please also let me know! I don't want to offend anyone and I don't know much about different languages (but I'm learning a lot from everyone). Thank you to everyone for your assistance!
If anyone wants to know anything specific to translate, please ping in the forum someone from the list under the correct language. There are many people with many skills who have offered their time to help :)
Please try to keep things PG13, as there may be minors present. Also if anyone in the list wishes to be removed from it for any reason, please let me know! I will do so with no questions asked.

Hareryuu Ah, thank you for letting me know! It's hard to keep up with everyone @_@
PastelPrinceDan Welcome! Thank you for offering! I'll add you to the list :)
ceginus Wow, that's quite a few languages o_o I'll be sure to add you to the list!
Also...I really love your icon XD It's impressive animation, who did it??
ceginus Thanks! I subbed to them :)
StagDoe That's great to hear! It's so nice to see so many people of different cultures and languages come together to share their knowledge. I'll be sure to add you to the list!
I suppose to both of you, what are some endearing terms you'd say to family members or to something small? Like "that cat is cute" or "my little cousin is so adorable!" Or maybe even something along the lines of "my wife is so sweet to others." Things like "cute," "adorable," "sweet," etc. I don't think I've ever heard Polish or Korean words like those.
I'm a native Indonesian Speaker actually, and also kinda fluent in English! Well I know not many people in the internet are interested in Bahasa Indonesia.
But maybe I can help translating Indonesian, sometimes the google translate doesn't really go well for me as it was sometimes translate it wrong a bit, and sometimes it can be fatal tho.
StagDoe :0 That's amazing, I had no idea that "sweet" wasn't used that way! It's also amazing that many languages use different meanings for genders. That's something I'm not used to yet, but it came across when I tried to learn German. Thank you so much for sharing that with me! :)
AitumTaring Welcome! I'll be sure to add you to the list! But I know what you mean, while Google Translate is great to have, it's far from perfect and misleading. In Indonesian, how do you say "my cat loves playing with dogs!" I think that would be interesting to see :)
Sorsa Thanks for offering! I don't come across many Hungarian speakers so this is great! I think you're the first to offer! :)
Happy to assist ya!
"My cat loves playing with dogs!" = "Kucingku suka bermain dengan anjing!"
Note: If using you're going to use the word "Anjing"(Dog) in any conversation, be careful with your tone of saying "anjing".
Because the word can be used as an insult if you didn't point out that what you're meaning is a dog.
AitumTaring ._. Oh well that's good to know! Wow, I guess I can kinda see how it can be taken as an insult. So it being said in a harsh way or are there other parts to the language added in to be more insulting? I know some languages have small changes in the words themselves for it to be an insult. English seems to just go off of how you speak to people. "You're not good at this, are you?" can be seen as light hearted between people, but can also sound mean if said a certain way.
Thank you for this thread!! I have a lot of bilingual oc's, so I'll definitely be using this resource sometime.
You can add me for Brazilian Portuguese! My parents are from Brazil and taught me the language, and I stayed there for a few months to really get to use it.
While I was there, my aunt was really interested in my oc's. I've been working on translating my profiles so she can catch up on them, but with most of them being wip's it's a little slow-going haha.
