sunshineem Alrighty, I'll list you then! Thanks for assisting!
Virgichuu :0!!!! Omg!!! That's so many languages! So impressive ;-; So would it be more appropriate to list it under Arabic? So like we'd have under Arabic "Virgichuu (standard + Darija)"? Your country speaks so many it's so hard to figure out how to list it XD I'm still reeling from amazement! That's so incredible!!!
BlueOnyx Omg thanks so much for offering!!! Ah this is incredible, to learn that there's so many different types of Portuguese! XD I'm sorry if my amazement is weird, but I'm an American that literally only speaks English xD I'll definitely list you down as European Portuguese then! Thank you for assisting!
Hey! I'm not sure if this is the right spot to post this, but I think it'd be cool to have a place for bilingual people to translate some cool phrases or words for creations. Personally I'm looking to see if someone can correctly translate "You can't handle the truth" from English to Latin.
I'm not bilingual myself, unfortunately, but maybe others who want correct translations can build this post up and help each other.
So what kinds of things do you want translated for your creations and how do you use them? I like using phrases or words to create names or locations :)
Edit: Wow, this post blew up more than I originally thought it would! From now on, I'll try to list the languages and the users that speak said languages below to make it easier for others to find the proper person they need! If there's any problems at all with what's listed, please let me know and I'll change it ASAP. If there are languages that are together that the native speakers suggest be separated, please also let me know! I don't want to offend anyone and I don't know much about different languages (but I'm learning a lot from everyone). Thank you to everyone for your assistance!
If anyone wants to know anything specific to translate, please ping in the forum someone from the list under the correct language. There are many people with many skills who have offered their time to help :)
Please try to keep things PG13, as there may be minors present. Also if anyone in the list wishes to be removed from it for any reason, please let me know! I will do so with no questions asked.

Miyako! Hey! Nice to have you here!! I'll be sure to list you down :)
Btw, I have a question for you! Online, I've seen a German word going around and, going off what I've seen, I absolutely love it! But how accurate is it? The word in question is "Backpfeifengesicht" which seems to roughly translate to "a face that should be punched" or "a face that should be slapped" or something along those lines. How accurate is this? Is it something used often in Germany? Is it a really big insult that shouldn't be said? There's not really much else online about it so it has me curious. Thanks ahead of time!
Dez Lmao, I haven’t heard that insult for a long time. These days the insults are more harsh and simple. I’d say it’s a pretty rare and specific word, but the translation is pretty accurate. Instead of "Backpfeife" you can also say "Ohrfeige" (both of them translate to a slap on the face/cheek). I hear "Ohrfeige" more often.
Miyako :0 That's something I didn't know! So it would be "Ohrfeigengesicht"? Or did I butcher that xD I tried learning German awhile back but got really confused the further on Duolingo took me @-@ Probably easier to talk to someone and practice or be in an actual class environment for it.
Thank you so much for answering the questions though! That's very interesting to hear, honestly. As the world changes, so does everything and everyone involved, so if things become harsher and simpler, the language would become so as well. But that just makes it harder to learn sometimes XD
Dez No prob! Also, I guess you could say “Ohrfeigengesicht”....in german you can basically slap any words together and it sometimes still makes sense. But I think with this specific word you rather use “Backpfeife”, “Ohrfeige” is just used more often as a single word.
German is soo hard to learn, but we do use a lot of English words these days, or some words are very similar to English ones. But in general it’s probably very hard because of the gender, pronunciation and rules. If you speak enough and learn from native speakers what’s normal and what’s not, you should totally be able to learn it though!
Miyako That seems to be a thing in many languages. That you can just slap things together and it still make sense XD I find it so strange! Thank you for clarifying some things about the German word and for teaching me a bit more about German! It's been a lot of fun learning more :)
The thing that got me the most confused in German was the different grammatical cases. Apparently English has five but German only has four, and the way pronouns change from nominative to accusative etc really got me lost @-@ English is so weird compared to most other languages so switching from English to something else (or vice versa for other languages) is very difficult. Perhaps it'll make more sense later in the future if I try again.
Hehehe thank you!~ Yeah it is appropriate! Though my standard Arabic is lame compared tbh! My parents spoke to us in French at home lmao!
ceginus oh my!!! I'm honored?? Glad you liked it there (I must confess I miss home atm no matter how much I complain about it lmao) where have you been to?
ceginus oh boy!! I'm glad you liked my city! That's where I'm from!! If you ever come again hit me up >:3 and yeah gosh too many lmaooo just the entrance of my building is filled with them!
