ABOUT
"The Ushigi are stone monoliths bearing resemblance to rabbits in certain regards. These giant Creachers love to stand in the way of those traversing the Hallowed Woods. Mainly to seek attention, affection, or food. From those who come across them, Ushigi are typically docile, but if provoked they become very aggressive and chase down the wraths of their ire. Their gemstone bellybuttons indicate their current mood."
TRIVIA
1. The gems that appear on their stomachs act as mood rings. In a neutral state, they appear green.During rest, they turn a less vibrant shade of amethyst. Otherwise the mood colors range from blue at the happiest
to red at the angriest. Melancholy Ushigi have their gems turn gray and clouded in pigment.
2. They love getting in the way of any travelers they encounter in the woods, but they aren't outwardly aggressive.
They just stand in the way of passersby until they receive attention, affection, or some kind of food
from the aforementioned travelers.
3. When enraged, the Ushigi will chase down their aggressor and pummel them into the ground
until they no longer detect motion. Given their stony physical makeup, getting hit by an Ushigi
would be equivalent to being hit by a very large stone club.
4. Ushigi typically do not venture outside of the forest for fear of losing all defensive capabilities when in open spaces.
