ABOUT
"Once a Torterraine reaches a thousand years of age with the right love and care, the magic within their glass shells bursts and turns them into the colossal Tectorraine. Their original terrain magic becomes a massive biome that runs wild and free across their backs. When their magic becomes too overgrown, they find a place to plant their roots and go into slumber; becoming a home for other life until their soulmate is born anew."
TRIVIA
1. The evolution of a Torterraine! In their old wise age, the creacher lose their tiny pet-friendly sizeand grow to the size of small islands! The better you care for your Torterraine, the larger it will be when it evolves.
2. Tectorraines also lose their aquatic dependency when they evolve, and can now traverse land.
However, they still do require a lot of hydration to stay healthy, many use their newly developed claws to dig themselves into the ground to absorb the moisture and nutrients from within. Those that live in the air
or elsewhere or travel often can gather water from the atmosphere or weather.
3. They have the ability to fly on magic currents. Traveling by foot tends to be potentially harmful,
so many choose to travel this way. Some that take to the air might even find themselves in their element
and never come back down. Except to reunite with loved ones, of course!
4. They make great homes, especially traveling ones! Tectorraines love company and are not bothered by structures
or ecosystems created on their backs. It's not unheard of for generations of families to be born and live
within a home of one raised by an ancestor.
5. Tectorraines never forget. They remember every being they encounter, even when the being is reborn
or changes completely. If one seems affectionate or seem particularly cold towards someone,
they both have encountered in a past life!
This also makes them powerful trackers, if they've met their target at least once.
6. They don't nessacerily need the love of a mahou to evolve from their pre-evo, if the circumstances are right,
they can even evolve from the love of another Creacher, or something else entirely.
