#92. SPYBALLS

ABOUT

"Spyballs are spider-like creachers made of the winded up optic nerves and eyes of Hatters. These creachers are perpetually on the hunt for a host to take the place of their eyes."

TRIVIA

1. Spyballs are spiderlike creatures made from the remnants of Hatter poaching in Mahou Wando. They are tightly winded optics nerves with the eyes of various Hatters embedded within.

2. The Spyballs' multicolor is because they are formed through the butchering of several Hatters. A limit has not been determined for how many Hatters can go into a Spyball.

3.While all Spyballs hunt hosts to attach to, Spyballs made from Hatters who had owners will always try to seek them out.

4. Some Spyballs are still capable of telepathic abilities, but they are very weak.

5. While they bind their nerves tightly to keep themselves together, they have been known to unwind their nerves for more surface to attack, increase their running speed, or merge with more disconnected Spyballs.

6.The new vision of the host will be fragmented across all eyes. The host also gains their telepathy, which becomes stronger over time. The host is known to suffer from headaches as well as constantly hearing the disjointed voices of the former Hatters in their heads. Despite this, the vision will be strengthened unimaginably, with the host being able to see great distances as well as look at angles that would be outside a normal eye's range of motion. This has unfortunately made Spyballs popular with poachers as many powerful criminals have sought to replace one or both their eyes with one from a Spyball.

7.Spyballs feel kind of squishy and wet.

8. The Spyball can leaves its host and reattach with ease.

9. The way to ward off a Spyball is by playing peekaboo with it. They are incredibly fast in their attacks, so the best way to fend against them is to have protective eyewear or, if in a pinch, cover your eyes. The Spyball will continue to try and attack for a bit before eventually going to get reinforcement. It is advised to get as far away from the area. They can also be fooled with dummies or dolls, though this becomes less effective the more it's relied on.

10. Spy Balls see each other as family! They have a kind of pack dynamic. Threading in their species seems to be determined on a number of factors such as eye size, optic color, eye color etc. Spy Ball families sure are complicated!
