"Endangered species from another realm, Puerkeepos are clay pigs that contain a number of rare or expensive materials like gems, precious metals, or various forms of currency. With either slots or corked snouts, their treasures are able to be removed if you shake them. However, they are extremely fragile and heavy."
TRIVIA
1. According to a fellow rabbit god, they are one of Xipe Totec's creations,who stopped making Puerkeepos because men hunted them and took their treasures by force,
rather than by nurturing them.
2. Puerkeepos do not have much in terms of defense, but will squeal loudly when grabbed without warning,
alerting the others nearby to get away from the area.
3. If their stomachs are ever completely empty, they die.
It is like taking someone's food right out of their stomach, so they starve.
4. They are friendly to those that approach them kindly or are truly in need.
However, they expect the mahou to eventually return any money you take from them.
5. Breaking a Puerkeepo, whether literally or in the sense that you're betraying their trust,
gives one bad luck. Allegedly.
6. Ever since they were integrated into the realm, the Potiphants have taken a kindred liking to them.
Thus, it is not uncommon to find two of the species mingling as friends!
