"A type of Hippocamp named for its kelp like fins and antlers. Though said antlers appear as fragile as their fins, they are capable of breaking rock and bone. Most range from green to reddish-brown in coloration, but some have rarely spotted white."
TRIVIA
1. They travel in small family groups to keep each other safe. This makes it extremely hard to tame one.2. Those who can claim to have tamed one say that the best time to catch a kelpie off guard
is when adolescents separate from their groups to start their own.
While still somewhat dangerous, their antlers haven't fully developed yet.
3. Kelpies only show themselves to those who prove they have a deep love and care for the ocean.
4. They are believed to be a sea-adapted variant of their cousinMistikelsBut because both are extremely rare Creachers, researchers are still trying to confirm it.
