CREACHER #79. KERFLUTTER

PEERCAT.png

ABOUT

"Not so distantly removed from Kerfluffles, Kerflutters have developed wings so as to not be stepped on when they blend in with the clouds they live in. Despite now being airborne, they still can kerfluff when threatened. Kerflutters have also developed "ears" that come in different forms. They still have needle-like quills and different coat colors, patterns, and fur-length."

TRIVIA

1. While they are native to Cloudsville they also have been seen in Lil Nights
(likely for similar visibility-related reasonings).
Lil Nightsovanian Kerflutters tend to have bat ears as the most common trait.
Some say it's because bat ears are the best for navigation in darkness.

2. They are not able to get as big as their pre-evo,
Kerflufflescan get when kerfluffed, but it's likely so they can remain in the air.
The Long-Haired Kerflutters seem to be the biggest they can get.
Like Kerfluffles, their fluff eventually sheds after having kerfluffed.

3. Their Kerfluffed state makes it harder to fly around. They bump into things alot since their wings
are restricted. It's fine, they're so fluffy it doesn't hurt them!

4. There have not been any Kerflutters that have "double ears"
(so no Bat + Horn, no SeaBunny + Bat, and no SeaBunny + Horn)
However it seems that Horn Kerflutters can have hidden spines or visible ones,
where as the Bat or SeaBunny Ears tend to only have visible ones.

5. They can eat the dust in the air, which ironically makes them good for cleaning.
They do not seem to need to eat to live however, so the dust eating seems more just cus they can.

6. The discarded Kerflutter fluff can often be used for stuffing in plushies since it is very soft..

7. If not careful, they can become natural prey to the Dusbus---
