About

Daisy is a happy-go-lucky, cheerful, though a bit eccentric woman. True to her surname, Daisy not only is a very joyful person herself, but also goes out of her way to make other people joyful. She's one of those people who learns all the little things that makes a person happy, and then surprise them with all those little things. Even strangers aren't safe from Daisy's unwavering kindness -- she'll surprise complete randos with presents, compliments, and general positivity. Nothing can keep Daisy down, and she wants people to be as chipper as she is.

As for her career, during the week, Daisy works in a behavioral health clinic as a clinical social worker. She has a wonderful relationship with all of her clients, as you would expect from such a caring woman. Even though she works a rather serious job, that doesn't deter her eccentricity. She regularly gives her patients presents, draws portraits of them, and even serenades them on her ukulele or guitar for their birthday. Speaking of serenading, on weekends, Daisy busks at a pedestrian mall. She brings out her ukulele or guitar and plays for passersby -- either singing her favorite songs, taking requests, or even totally serenading interesting strangers by spontaneously making up songs that compliment their unique styles.

Backstory

Past

Daisy grew up on a farm with her paternal grandparents and aunt. Her parents had died in a car accident when she was a toddler, so her grandparents, who lived only an hour out from her hometown, took her in. Her aunt, who was five years older than Daisy's father, also lived in their home, was overjoyed to take up the position of being a mother-figure for young Daisy. She was actually considering moving out to live on her own, but knowing that Daisy had to live with them now, she decided to stay home to help raise her. As a child, Daisy developed her current, happy-go-lucky personality rather quickly. She loved to sing, dance, play ukulele and guitar, and spend time outside with her grandparents' animals and plants.

She was sent to a school in the town about an hour away from her house, and was highly gifted in English and History classes. She breezed through her schooling with ease (besides her math classes), and was accepted into a university in the next state over. She was devastated to leave her dear family, but she knew she had to. She obtained her bachelor's degree, then master's degree in social work.

Present

Currently, Daisy is a clinical social worker at a behavioral health clinic and weekend busker in a little seaside town, Rainbow Bay. Besides this, she lives a relatively simple life with her friends, pet poodle, and many hobbies. She still loves to dance and sing (she does it on the weekend, anyways), but she also paints, draws, arranges flowers, sews, and writes poetry. She lives a relatively simple life, and she honestly couldn't be happier. At her work, she does what she can to establish good relationships with her patients and her coworkers. Even her office is decorated in decor that reminds her of home, and many of her own original paintings. Despite being at work, her office truly is her happy place. While busking, she finds herself truly in her element. She loves to spread joy through her music, so much that she decided to do something worthwhile with it. She decided, with her fellow musician friend, Virginia, to start a group dedicated to enriching the performance art scene on Rainbow Bay. It's rather small now, but the group is very close. They're like each other's family, and Daisy is essentially their mother. She loves what she does, and could never imagine herself doing anything else.

Virginia Desrosiers [ Friend ]

A fellow musician, Virginia is a very good friend of Daisy's. Virginia is honestly quite dependent on Daisy, but Daisy doesn't mind -- she loves her friend dearly. The two met while Daisy busking -- Daisy was doing her usual ukulele/guitar performances, as Virginia was playing a street piano for fun. As a concert pianist, the ever-shy Virginia wasn't used to playing outdoors for people who didn't willingly come to see them, but Daisy was so impressed by their playing, she just had to duet with them. Ever since, they've been good friends with each other. They spend a LOT of time together, be it duetting, drawing, watching TV, or just enjoying the other's company. Daisy also frequents Virginia's shows quite often, always willing to support her dear friend.

Victory Flores Desrosiers [ Friend

Vic is Virginia's younger sibling. They get along with Daisy incredibly well, mostly because Daisy is the only person who can really keep up with them. Vic is very wild, and LOOOVES to run around outside and get really lost for fun, which Virginia can't handle, but Daisy definitely can. Daisy wanders with Vic, keeping an eye on them to make sure they're safe, which they secretly appreciate. They consider Daisy to be a positive role model and mentor in their life, which Daisy happily appreciates. She sees Vic like her own child, so she treats them the exact way her own aunt treated her.

Martha I. Deneva "Lalalacrimosa" Noah [ Friend

A fellow member of the Performer's League of Rainbow Bay. Daisy had caught one of Lalalacrimosa and Robin Banks's performances and was totally blown away by their chemistry. She felt compelled to ask them to join the League, and they did! Martha and Daisy are almost opposites -- while Martha is gloomy and morose, Daisy is peppy and cheerful. Although their personalities are contrasting, the two are very good friends.

Lolly Poplichinelle [ Friend

A fellow member of the league. The two get along very well, due to the fact that they have very similar personalities. They also both have very strong passions for performing, and they often perform together. With her ukulele, Daisy sometimes accompanies Lolly at her clowning gigs and plays music for them, though she isn't a clown herself. She may become one, someday, though! Lolly thinks Daisy would make a great clown, and Daisy herself is inclined to agree!

Robin Banks [ Friend

A fellow member of the Performer's League of Rainbow Bay. Daisy had caught one of their performances with their girlfriend Lalalacrimosa and was totally blown away by their chemistry. She felt like she just HAD to ask them to join the League, so she did! Robin joined right away, and Daisy was thrilled to meet yet another passionate performer. Robin and Daisy clicked almost right away, their fun-yet-eccentric personalities making each other feel more like siblings rather than friends. Daisy loves how creative Robin is and frequently commissions them for both clothing and art. She considers it a blessing to have such an artistically gifted friend, so she does whatever she can to keep Robin's artistic mojo going. She sees them as the younger sibling she always wanted.
