Personality

A no-nonsense fellow with a highly opinionated mind
He doesn't need to be in charge, but he won't hesitate to speak his mind and/or throw down if he feels that whoever's in charge is making the wrong choice
Doesn't have a lot of patience for screwing around and wasting time
Works through his emotions with violence and dangerous flight stunts
- He'll power stroke up into the sky as high as he possibly can, plummet back down, and pull out of the dive at the last possible second... that kind of shit, until he wears himself out and he's calmed down
- Either that or he'll utterly trash a punching bag until, again, he wears himself out and he's calmed down
Will physically intimidate people to get his way

Likes

Fighting, both physically and verbally
- He doesn't mind whether he wins or loses - if he loses fairly, the victor gains his respect and Rex can reflect on what kept him from winning
- He actually prefers a close loss to an easy victory - easy wins are boring, but a challenging hard-fought battle is an invigorating experience whether he wins or loses
Kids - if given the choice to talk to adults or children, he'll always listen to the children tell him about their new toys and their dumb siblings
- An adult will be nice to him and then talk shit about him later. A child will just say "you stink" to his face, and he respects that

Dislikes

Insults, any insults, especially if they're directed at his character
Similarly, being talked down to - he hates it when people get condescending because look how muscular he is, he's just a big meathead, he can't possibly know what he's talking about
Fighting dirty or "unfairly"
- If you had to break the rules to win a fight, you're admitting that you suck
- Also, poor sportsmanship - he has no respect for those who endlessly taunt their opponents, no matter how skilled they may be. How can you have fun with a test of skill and strength if your opponent is trying to piss you off with cheap jabs?

Reliable, dedicated - if he decides to do something, he's damn well going to do it right
Doesn't like to admit that he has a softer side; worries that his emotions are a sign of weakness
Keeps himself well-groomed - he always brushes the tangles out of his mane, polishes his horns and hooves, meticulously cleans his nightmare teeth, does whatever he does to achieve those wild eyelashes

- like yes he appreciates that you think he's cool, but compliments would mean much more if you knew anything about him other than He Fight Good
