PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
- Smol
- Wears a lot of shorts and colorful T-shirts
- Has thick, bouncy, curly hair
- Roach keeps the back portion of her hair tied into two "ponytails" that look like pom-poms
- Color scheme is most similar to Moth's
- Covered in short, bristly fur that makes her purple and a little blotchy
- Has a bit of an underbite; her two lower canines are especially long and tend to protrude from her mouth when it's closed
PERSONALITY
- Generally pleasant, isn't screamy the way some kids her age are
- Extremely curious, wants to pry into everything literally and figuratively and see how it works
- Has a touch of caution/consideration about it, though - she asks about everything, but quickly drops questions if it looks like they're making someone upset
- Likes to pretend she's an adventurer on an expedition
- Playful, imaginative, makes up a lot of games on the playground
- Headstrong - doesn't like to pretend to agree with people so they'll like her

BACKSTORY
- For the first eight or so years of her life, she didn't know her father
- Moth generally lived somewhere in a deep forest at that point and only ran into Roach occasionally
- And since they're both immortal, "occasionally" could literally be "only a few times in a human lifetime"
- Neither of them was really a fan of that arrangement, but Moth didn't want to attempt to live with Roach because Roach was having a "bad century" and he figured he'd be a bother, and Roach didn't want to attempt to live with Moth because he was stuck in a bog of self-loathing and was convinced that Moth couldn't possibly actually love a useless sulking lump
- Roach was really putting off introducing Cara to Moth because he didn't know how the fuck he was going to explain himself
- Roach is shitty and bad at relationships so instead of owning up to things he decided "well maybe if I just hide out here for a while then the other immortal will just go away and I'll never have to tell him about this"
- After Cara got old enough to wonder about her second biological parent and started asking Roach whether she had a father like the other kids, it occurred to Roach that Cara would love her father and Moth would be overjoyed to know he had a family
- Literally the only thing standing in the way of all three of them having the family Cara was looking for and Moth had always wanted was Roach's procrastination
- Moth generally lived somewhere in a deep forest at that point and only ran into Roach occasionally
- So Roach took Cara to the place he was fairly sure Moth was living and sure enough everyone was happy to see each other
- They all live together in a suburban house now and it's real silly
