i won't actually have any games until puyo puyo tetris comes out but i just like to have friends

also a couple of you added me on miitomo and fire emblem heroes and the switch recommends me friends based on that so if you get a friend request from an iso don't worry it's some real deal A-grade iso not some random stranger iso you've never met

if you sent me a request let me know in case your mii/username doesn't match with your username on here and i don't reject you unintentionally!!

First off, I'm real deep into Fire Emblem Heroes (if you didn't add me before gimme your code; I'd post mine but my friend list is full of randos atm so you wouldn't be able to send the request) so I made a Fire Emblem Heroes section on everyone's stat pages! It's super fun to pick out skills and stuff and I highly recommend it, good way to waste time in an OC-related fashion! Behold:

• Aranaea: oh god dancers shouldn't be able to murder people!!
• Hattie: no takumis will survive. god have mercy
• Istra: basically just a one-unit dicro defense squad of murder and woe
• Lysis: he murders one thing and then dies, just like in real life. except in real life he doesn't actually manage to murder anyone so really it's a step up
• Ochotnik: crowd control: the mage
• Semil: who knew that ice could tank fire magic?? well not him actually bc he's a green unit but he has a lot of res ok
• Tulippa: heals real good, then dies horribly. can fly for some reason??
• Mycena: special incomplete profile guest star!! the elusive tank healer

Second, I've added some more tags! The first set is pretty straightforward, and is just kinda for my own personal reference:

• Profile v1: Characters whose profiles are still the first layout. man i am so behind folks
• Profile v2: Characters whose profiles are the second layout I used, which added stats, RP history, writing, and colors.
• Profile v3: Characters whose profiles are my most recent layout, which has WAY more info and neat sections than the other two. These are the characters I'm the most prone to showing off/posting with since I consider them to be "complete." Y'know, aside from Mycena there.

Everyone else is in the incomplete bio tag which is way too big and they all have so many details to type out oh god and those are just adopts i mean i still have hundreds of non-adopt ocs i need to upload eventually too

i like how i said i was probably gonna be more active now that school's start but instead it's been the opposite... mostly bc my professor in my 101 class is one of those professors who will chew you out in front of the entire class if you aren't making eye contact with him for the entire class even though he legit spends half of the class going on tangents about how most of us won't graduate and how every other school he's taught at is so much better blah blah blah

i mean i'm not saying i just want to spend all of class writing oc bios but i always seem to work on those best in between bullet points on lecture slides ya know... probably because i'm already writing notes so it's easy to switch tabs while the professor is explaining stuff i already know/rambling about something completely unrelated to keep my writing pace up ya feel, plus then i'm motivated to keep working after class since i've already done work. listen i'm a good student i swear

ANYWAY the last set of tags I added are month tags! What are they?? Good question!! I'm a weirdo who strongly associates months with colors, so I decided to organize my OCs by color in a way because color-coding is my life. Again, mostly just for my own reference, but in case you want to see my weird color associations:

• January: White and really light/pale blues.
• February: Pink. man this is a nice-lookin' tag, esp that top row
• March: Green. That's this month!!
• April: Gray and rainbow/multicolored enough to the point where it doesn't feel right putting them somewhere else. Listen that's my birth month it can be whatever I want ok
• May: Purple.
• June: Yellow. I wish I had more yellow OCs... even counting OCs I haven't uploaded yet, I don't have enough of them. Which is really weird because yellow is like my favorite color after blue??
• July: Red. Hope you like seeing white-haired anime boys with red outfits because pals I got more where that came from (actually not really it's just the three there and maybe one or two more)
• August: Shades of aqua/teal and peach/beige. i dunno man august just has a beach feel so it's got more reach, some colors just give me that august feel while others can fit in different months ya know
• September: Orange. Those are actually pretty much all of my orange characters and based on my storage side account orange is the color I have the least of... which is terrible because I love orange!!! What's up with that!!!!
• October:Black. Hiemalis is also there bc her design is super halloweeny fuck you
• November: Brown. man i gotta align langer's icon better, it bugs me that he and ouray are interacting properly but langer's so low
• December: Blue, and also Charity. merry christmas every day, mortals

some of them are in multiple tags and others should probably get switched around but WHATEVER

Last thing - I'm getting a new CSS layout in about a week or so, and I'm pretty excited about it!! When I get it, it'll be under the Profile v3 tag since everything in there currently is going to be immediately ported over. It shouldn't be too terribly different from my current layout, but I'll be posting about when everything is ported over since there'll be a shiny new trivia section! There are often a lot of other things I want to mention about my OCs, but they don't fit into any of the other sections cleanly. It'd also be nice to have a place to mention playlists and stuff like that... I only have two at the moment and neither of them are for OCs who have current layouts at all but STILL gotta think about the future y'know

it's a fun game but i have a severe inability to roll anything over 3 stars ;__;

Went to do another profile and rolled Ochotnik, so her profile has been brought up-to-date with my new CSS layout and all of the new sections that come with it!

Additionally, I forgot to mention that I went through the forums and gathered up all of my OC posts ever because I have too much time on my hands and love OCs too much. The following characters have had their forum post sections completed since the "completion" of their profiles if you're into that kinda thing:

• Aranaea
• Hattie
• Istra
• Tulippa

Also, I got a new user layout!! It's pretty much the best, Wicked is a CSS witch... anyway, I'll be swapping out the "Who to Fav" section every monthish probably?? It's pretty random right now, but probably gonna be based on which completed OCs best match the arbitrary color I assign each month, or maybe which OCs have a birthday in that month or something... or I might change it to my 4-5 most recently completed profiles?? Might go with the last one since otherwise the list is gonna stretch for miles...

Finally, I start school again on Tuesday, which means I'll have gratuitous amounts of free time in an environment that's conducive to writing, so I'll probably be cranking out new/updated profiles more often! I've got a pretty huge backlog, but I'm stuck at school for no less than 8 hours per day because of bus schedules and am only in class for a fraction of that time. So I'm pretty optimistic!

I dunno why, but picking random OCs to work on with random.org somehow makes everything go easier. I guess because I'm not stressing out about deciding who's the biggest priority or forcing myself through a gauntlet of characters with lengthy backstories/who need to be written from scratch... instead I get a nice variety of long profiles vs short profiles and new profiles vs profiles that just need to be updated. Might be something worth thinking about if you struggle with motivation when picking a profile to work on!

random.org insisted i complete a profile for a new oc who's a pretty minor character instead of any of the ocs who've been waiting for 80 years to have a profile and y'know what... i'm ok with that bc it was nice working on a really short profile for once
