Finally got around to uploading this short story I wrote about a week ago about Dicro, Istra, and some pals getting wasted and playing a party game. It's pretty short and hopefully funny even if you don't give a waffle about my donuts (some prime wordplay for Food Network fans), so check it out!!

NOTE: This story is pretty NSFW since a lot of questions in the game require revealing more than you probably wanted to know about everyone's sex lives. You better be 18 or older before you go and uncover why Guy Fieri and salad are relevant to this note!!

OK so i was almost done with this bulletin after working on it on and off for a couple days and then accidentally clicked a bookmark instead of a tab and lost everything SO time to write that very long post all over again but shorter and with less effort

1  -  Profiles  //  i'm going to be hiding all of my incomplete profiles soon! yknow, the ones with the zzs. i don't really like having half of the pages in my character section be things i don't even want people to fav... i used to just automatically upload adopts just to prove my ownership but i haven't done that in a few months because i just know i'm not gonna get around to writing profiles proper (even though i have stories/personalities planned out) for a while and it bugs me so much having all of these nigh-blank profiles lyin' around, especially on my newest characters section!! i wanna show off the ocs i've actually finished working on, not the ones i don't even want people to look at yet...

i also feel like it holds me back from writing profiles for my originally-designed characters since i have so many adopts i have to get through first... no matter how much motivation i have to work on a pre-existing oc i just end up feeling bad for having all these profiles uploaded that need to be finished instead. so, with hiding these incomplete ones, i feel like it'll give me some more psychological room to work on what i feel like working on at any given time

i'm hiding instead of deleting and re-uploading later just to preserve links (both urls and relationship links) and avoiding having to wait for creator approval again, so like with the zz profiles i'll make bulletins and whatnot when they're complete and unhidden!

2  -  User Profile  //  probably gonna update/add some things to my user profile soon! i want to add some kind of little table with "dos" and "don'ts" like i've seen other people have, like saying whether or not i'm okay with random gift art, rp requests, etc etc. might still be a while before i do this though just because disgaea 5 has taken over my life So

3  -  Folders  //  i'm thinking about doing my folders differently! i've also seen a lot of people doing this thing where they'll make their stories/universe tags and then just have folders based on species (like human/kemonomimi/anthro/feral/closed species/etc.) or something else. not sure how i'd divvy it up just yet so i'd love to hear from anyone who uses this kind of method for their folders, but i'm definitely straying away from using stories/verses as my folders because... well, just take this screenshot of my storage account

4  -  Resells/Trades  //  i'm doing the unthinkable... i'm... thinking about getting rid of some of my ocs *scare chord*

to make a very long story short i can't stop having existential crises about commercial usage rights (+ also money) and so i've been slowly kind of backing out of adopts... it's rough because i keep seeing so many adopts i know i could give a good home to and there are so many artists i want to support by buying their cool designs but agggh it's killing me that only a very small percentage of the adopts i cherish so much could ever be used in a game or a comic or a book or whatever. it's a pipe dream that i'll ever make any of those things, yeah, but locking myself out of the dream entirely is a real bummer

like... i'm forced to either make them very minor characters so that if i ever made something i could easily cut them out or i'm forced to shove them into one-off settings that i end up wishing i could make something commercial out of someday or putting them into rp settings. like in particular i keep putting people in hell & heaven college because they fit so well but honestly that's one of the settings that would be the most fun to make a game out of and lends itself the most naturally to one... not to mention they're both getting really bloated with characters. that's not a Huge problem because it's tended to be a group rp setting with loads of "npcs" and it's my favorite setting anyway but yknow

• $4  //  comes with extra art! i forgot how much it cost me so i just didn't add it into the price. i've just had a hard time connecting to him and feel like his personality/backstory might be suited better to a design i could make on my own
  
  
• $5  //  thinking about not being lazy and just giving her a different hair color/style and freckles... i like the concept i have for her but gosh her design in combo with her personality just makes me think umbra constantly!! that's what happens when you impulse buy, folks. essentially if i can make myself draw her (art is hard) i'll keep her but if i can't soon then yeah
  
  
• $6  //  kinda weird bc she has a completed profile and everything but i've been having a hard time connecting to her idk. she was a character i got outbidded on and was like "i'm okay with this actually" and then the other person backed out so i kinda got stuck with her and that feeling's just sorta lasted ever since. she'd be fun to rp with but like?? i dunno. who knows.
  
  
• $10a  //  comes with additional art! i like his design a lot but i've been trying for so long to fit him to his role in his story and it's just not working and i dunno if i can really fit him anywhere else. more importantly though the creator doesn't say anything at all about reselling, trading, or gifting So i'd have to note them and see if i even can give him away anyway. for that reason alone i might keep him bc talking to people abt getting rid of their designs is stressful
  
  
• $10b  //  i bought him bc he was a merman with a shirt and i was rly excited about that. thats it. he has A Role but i kinda want a design of my own to take his place so yeah
  
  
• $11  //  a rly cool design but i'm hesitant about having more adopts than i already do in positions of importance at hell college so yeah
  
  
• $15a  //  i feel like her gimmick is already used by so many ocs of mine, especially in hell college, and out of them she's the most expendable because i'd have to redraw her to look a bit older like i imagine her being (since her current art p much makes her look like a kid) and any adopt i have to draw myself to look accurate is automatically in a precarious position
  
  
• $15b  //  a rly cool design but she's part of a closed species i've been waiting for over a year for the creator to release the lore for and... yeah. they've said it's not restrictive and you wouldn't have to use it anyway but if i'm adopting a cs adopt then i want their character to be at least Influenced by the lore. i've been thinking about noting the creator to see if they can give me anything since it's been so long but i also rly do not want to do that. i don't want to risk having them release the info later and be rly inspired about it either though... blugh
  
  
• $20  //  i bought this design because i had an idea for a knight character and saw this one and was like "ah problem solved" then i adopted him and now i'm like "wtf i couldve just... made my own knight..." especially now that i want said character to be in a setting where i'd need to completely redesign him to fit anyway so yeah On hold for PrinceSawyer!
  
  
• Bonus: $20  //  i lov him but again i feel like i could make an original design that fits heaven college more - like an angel or someth - and plus his design is Super complicated so i could like never get art of him. it's a good design but theres A Lot in it
  
  
• $25  //  a very pretty design but she's the last design i purchased and a big example of why i stopped. ive just started buying adopts because they look nice lately, not because i have any ideas or use for them, and that's Really Bad for my wallet and work ethic. she deserves better than the mcnothing i've got planned for her
  
  
• ($30)  //  just another case of "i didn't need to buy an adopt for this character concept i had and could easily come up with a design of my own for this concept that i can use commercially should i ever need to"
  
  
• $40  //  this one was always a struggle bc i was really going back and forth on her but my friends pushed me into following my impulses and buying her anyway bc i think they thought that's what would make me happy... they were just trying to be supportive i know but i immediately regretted the purchase. yeah i have a personality and role and blah blah for her but it's in a group i don't want to have a lot of adopts in, i already have an existing character who fits that role, not to mention that she resembles seems so much that it's rly distracting. only obstacle is that her creator hasn't mentioned anything about reselling/trading/gifting/etc. so i'd have to ask them which is Intimidating
  
  

this list is relatively tentative so commenting on any of these is more of an ota rather then a fcfs kind of thing because i still don't know if i'm going to get rid of them for sure or not, hence why this is just tucked into this bulletin instead of being made as a forum post. if/when i do make a forum post it'll probably have some people added (like the bonus there) and/or some people taken out

SO yeah feel free to express interest in any of these and i might give them away! priority is money = points > art >>> designs but i'll look at basically anything. again though it's not a guarantee that i'll give em away atm but if you show interest now and i say i'm still tentative i'll likely contact you first if i do decide to give them away later!

gotta embrace this urge to write profiles while i can but i'm super indecisive... gonna try and finish fray since i started converting her profile over to the new layout, so i'd like to get some opinions on who to make a profile of next in the meantime! lots of ocs still need profiles so i just picked ones i associate with april bc i'm a weirdo who's gotta theme everything:

	Eirlys Wynne  //  A professor at Hell College who teaches... most things, really. She's a jack of all trades who enjoys so many things that she just can't stop getting degrees. Currently a big fan of labyrinth research, monsters, and summoning.
	Felicity Gottschalk  //  A student at Heaven College who's trying her best. Back on her planet she wound up becoming the embodiment of misfortune, taking all of the world's bad luck so everyone else would be more fortunate. As such, her life's become a series of wacky slapstick incidents and she pretty much dies every time she walks out of her room.
	Malady Maligna  //  A medical student working as a nurse at Hell College. She gets soul energy from the pain and suffering of others, so her patients technically get cured... just in the most horribly painful ways possible.
	Melitta Cymak  //  A perky member of the Space Police who works in information-gathering and technology. She probably knows all of your secrets. Yes, even that one.
	Mr. Sharpe  //  A nervous, jittery knife man who collects buttons. He lives at Heaven College, but his role is unclear. He doesn't seem to be completely comfortable there, though... rumor has it he knows too much.
	Qamar  //  A horrible demonic entity who was sealed into the body of a bird long ago. Associated with a cult that worships The Void(tm). Spends his time being ominous and being carted around the universe by some dork.
	Remaelius Opal  //  A gentle and serene professor at Heaven College who teaches subconscious studies. Has a supremely calming presence. They're one of the few professors remaining from before Heaven College took a turn for the worse and declared Hell College their enemy. They wish for nothing more than a return to the way things were.
