Out of a sudden I'm curious to see what OCs smoke and/or drink.
michiko and gesaku smoke cigarettes. michiko drank once and got drunk and never tried drinking again. she is a heavier smoker than ayami and gesaku combined - she smokes like 3-4 cigarettes per day. ayami vapes.
michiko smokes weed, too.
p much all of my OCs drink? and a lot do it heavily so it'd be a pain trying to narrow down a list 😅 in saying that none are serious alcoholics tho

I think most of my adult OCs drink unless they have a specific reason not to, but anyways! I'll try to list some visible ones c: (Including some late teens and young adults who are below the legal drinking age in the US, you've been warned!)

That would be Castle, being a Jrock star hes a bit of a party animal. Smokes Cigs like a chimney, drinks at parties.
As for my other OCs
Finch smokes pot and drinks on occasion but rarely.
Redrum generally has an addictive nature and does drugs and drinks like a fish. (No I do not condone his behavior)
Apart from Hehlel all my characters drink occasionally. Henry/Julia is the only drinker-smoker though.
S/He did pot in her youth, but didn't make it a habit. Since getting involved with The Occultists and getting a personalized dreamworld/sanctuary s/he's taken to smoking "the grass" in there though, to simulate the sensation of normal dreaming. Doesn't think it counts however because s/he's "not awake or anything" and just wants to "skip the night".
S/He smoked tobacco like a chimney back in England, especially when under stress, but quit for six years after coming to Wyderia and realising that the body s/he'd gotten for the occasion was that of a non-smoker. S/He's taken up the habit once again, maybe puffing on one or two every few days when s/he feels stressed (which is always).
S/He drinks - either socially or when under a lot of stress. Prefers strong liquor to beer and ale, but doesn't mind either if offered. Has a rather specific way of drinking very slowly, with small sips, ensuring that hir drinking buddy gets drunk before s/he does.
Most of them drink at least socially, if not a little more but Caph here’s got a problem and is drunk more then she is sober.

Alice is working on a space pirate ship and does like to drink at least at ports. Alice Smith
Most mine probably drink, yeah even the ghosts. And because Violette being drunk was a funny idea in mind, yes the ghosts can get drunk. But a lot of them are probably like, rarely drunk, and they only ever have a bit.
Less, but still a decent amount of mine smoke cigarettes, they just kinda do. I never really factored in any of the side effects, maybe in Irhynam and Eden there's not as much bad stuff in there, or I'm lazy.
Most of my OC's drink to varying degrees so I've only commented with the most notable.
Main smoker is Jasper, he's also the only smoker I have submitted right now. He smokes like a chimney, acknowledges it's gross and doesn't really do anything other than dry his mouth out but continues to smoke anyway. Has been known to chain smoke when stressed. Also fond of whisky and enjoys a finger in the evening when he can get his hands on a bottle.
Francis is a shameless wino. He's a social drinker who has maybe one glass 3/4 times a week but he knows his limits at least and will stop when he's starting to feel wobbly. Owen drinks with him but prefers whiskey or brandy.
surprisingly not a ton of my ocs smoke / drink? two that i can think of that drink are the guy im ic and my main, jae-hyeon
kang-dae is a heavy drinker and often uses it to cope with stress and anxiety. he has a preference for stronger tasting alcohol, but he'll drink anything good.
jae-hyeon drinks time to time. his body was extremely modified and he became immune to alcohol. because of that, jae can drink as much as he wants with no consequence, but he often throws out some alcohol because he's very picky with his drinks.
Naraka is my only character I'd consider a serious alcoholic. Started drinking heavily after a war wound that left him in pain for several months and his painkilling medication lost effect due to how much he'd used it. Now, even though he's healed, he can't go more than a few hours (at most) without drinking something. He doesn't really try to quit either, because he doesn't see any point in making the effort.
