☀️Appearance ☀️

Missing his upper left canine and two premolars on the same side

Always looks kinda disheveled. Mostly wears light jackets and band tshirts, but has some cardigans and button-up shirts thrown into the mix. Always wears long sleeves if he's out in public or with anyone other than Vincent. Owns a ton of sunglasses, but wears one with a thick black frame and yellow lenses the most

Dark hair and eyes

✴️Personality✴️

Extreme extrovert. He wants to be out with someone else and doing something as much as possible. It does not matter if hanging out with you is doing something mundane like chores, he'll still like it more than being alone.

Struggles hard with depression, but rarely brings up how he's feeling to anyone other than Vincent. He believes that most of the people he hands out with wouldn't want to spend as much time with him (or would outright ditch him) if they knew how badly he's really doing. Outside of talking about his current emotional state, Rory is open about most aspects of life and willing to discuss even the lowest points of his past.

🌕Backstory🌕

Born April 19th in the very early 1800s. He's like 200 something

A mess of a man that is trying his best to better himself and keep his life on track for real this time. Has made several bad choices in his life all of which have had lasting consequences. Has a really rocky relationship with his family because of this. Rory completely understands why they are still mad at him and knows that he can't make them forgive him. That being said, it still does bother him that he's wrecked his relationship with his family members. Especially upset that his son died before he could make any amends. Rory is completely unwilling to talk about his son with anyone.
The short of what he did is: he married a girl that loved him, but he didn't really care about her and only married due to family pressure; divorced her after a huge argument during which he told his son that he never cared about or loved him; left the country and had no contact with anyone for like 100 years; came back into his family's lives and actually made some amends only for him to fall hard back into drug addiction and got into the party scene so he started being impossible to get ahold of and blew off any plans he had with family. He's got his life back together again, but his family is sick of him suddenly disappearing.

🌫️Relationships🌫️

Vincent Kingston - Best Friend - Lifelong best friends with Vincent. Refer to and consider each other brothers. After a near death experience, Rory did confess to Vincent that he loves him more than anyone else and Vincent confessed he felt similarly. Rory is 110% willing to risk his life for Vincent. He would die for Vincent. He just loves that man so much. Vincent is the only person Rory feels like he has in his life that won't abandon him when he is at his worst. Rory appreciates how much the man supports him, but also isn't afraid to call him out on his bad and self-destructive behaviors. 

Lonnie Klein - Son - Rory is well aware that he was a shit father. He disappeared when Lonnie was a child, and didn't bother to show back up into Lonnie had grown up and had children of his own. Rory tried to reconnect, but Lonnie wouldn't hear of it. His son died hated him. And now there's nothing that can be done except to try to keep his name out of his mouth and stay the hell away from his grave.

Smokes too much and eats too little. He will straight up forget to eat until he either realizes he feels terrible and connects the dots or someone around him is eating. Does not drink at all.

Very much into old media. He is pretty good at fixing old players and tech due to constantly fixing his own stuff. Owns a bunch of outdated media types and has weird opinions on various formats.

Has been playing videos games since they became a thing and still loves them. 

Has zero sense of time. This man sets 32 phone alarms to remind himself and will still manage to forget

A huge theme to him is about the struggle of breaking out of destructive cycles.
