You could ask a relationship question in one of the other Q&A threads, but I thought a thread specifically for relationship questions would be fun, and good for developing character relationships!
In this thread, ask a question to the character a person posted above you in the thread, about a relationship in their life. You'll post IC as a character you would like to be asked about, and edit your post with your character's answer after the person below you asks them a question!
- The relationships in this thread don't have to be romantic! You could ask about a character's relationship with their sibling, their parents, their child, their dog, their rival, their boss, their worshippers-- you get the idea!
- If you want the person below to ask about a particular relationship (or give specific options, like either their brother or their best friend), you can specify at the bottom of your post; otherwise, people will ask you about a relationship that's listed on the character's profile. If you don't specify and no relationships are listed, you'll probably get a vague and potentially unfitting question like what their relationship with their mom is, so I recommend having at least one relationship listed somewhere.
- Questions can be anything: how the characters met, their favorite thing about the other character, silly nicknames, the worst fight they ever had, their favorite memory together, their plans for the future-- anything about a relationship the character has. Try to ask an interesting or thoughtful question!
- That said-- this is NOT intended to be a low-effort thread. You are expected to look at the profiles of each character you are asking about (at least whatever section describes their relationship or history together), and try to think of a relevant question to their relationship. The only exception is if there really is nothing on the characters' pages to base your question on.
- This is not a NSFW thread. Questions and answers can be a little bit racy, but nothing above PG-13. There are other threads for adult questions.
- This is generally an IC thread, but you can answer OOC if you want to or if you need to say something that the character wouldn't.
- Claim first if you need time to read the character's profile. Please ping the person above you so you make sure that they see your response! If you're not sure how to do this, you simply type @THEIRUSERNAME, and they will be notified! This will not work if you edit the ping into your comment later (like if you wanted to claim and then edit your question in); you must put it in when you first submit the comment.
- You are NOT ALLOWED to skip anyone in this thread. If you cannot see the post above you because the poster or you have blocked each other, wait for another person to comment before replying to the thread. Feel free to bump the thread to encourage others to participate!
- Wait at least a couple of posts before going again.

Multiple questions
How would you describe your friendship with Cress? Are there any moments that you look back on and laugh about now, or any hardships that made you think different of him over the years?
"I haven't seen her in centuries. At first I was angry at her, but now I'm rather horrified. I know she's still alive out there somewhere though, I can just feel it." Atwell pauses for a moment. "I wish I could say I hate her, that my fear of her overpowers what I used to feel for her, but some part of me still likes her, and misses the innocent girl I used to know her as. I simultaneously wish I could see her again and hope that she's lost interest in finding me forever, because of how much of a monster she's turned the both of us into. The idea of meeting her scares me, yet I still have this naive idea that I could bring her back to her senses when I already know that isn't in the slightest the case."
Leo writes, squinting at Atwell: "... Huh. So, what kind of standing are you and Lucasta on now? Have you even seen each other at all? Hate each other? Just don't care?"

Leo is caught very off guard with this question. He takes a minute to regain composure.
He scrambles and writes: "... Uh, well then. Uh... that's personal, alright. ... I won't lie, it's definitely something we've thought about and discussed before. Oliv and I have a mutual understanding regarding Mal, but that's too personal for me to get into detail about.
As for a verdict overall... it's complicated, but we don't consider ourselves to all be in a romantic relationship, no."
"So... how do you know Stuart? If it's ok to ask? Are you, um..." he looks embarrassed, clearly not going to say what's on his mind. "...friends?"
"Oh," he cringes. "Once I complained when Jill was playing the Go-Gos all day, and the three of them gave me the silent treatment for like, a whole day. Shunned. It's ok, I can admit when I'm wrong."
"What was the most minor thing you and your band mates argued about that devolved into a massive thing where everyone was angry for a day or two, or hell, a week maybe?"
"Yeah? Of course they know about each other. If they didn't I would be cheating on one, the other, or both, and I'm not for that. As for how they feel about each other? I can't really speak for them other than what I've seen. Fabian is pretty chill about Shizuki and while Shizuki wasn't the biggest fan of him at first she's warmed up to him. As for the whole, learning about each other thing? I don't know. Something about that still comes across as sounding like they didn't know or I kept it secret. Fabian knew about Shizuki since almost the moment me and him met and I told Shizuki about him shortly after that and I wasn't dating him at the time. We were just friends and when that changed I didn't do anything without asking her and making sure she was okay with it and same with him. We talk about stuff like this."
"So you're in a relationship with both a Ms. Shizuki Kishi and Mr. Fabian Blackwall? Do they know about each other? If so, how do they feel about each other, and how did they feel when they first learned about the other?"
"I..." He tries to keep a stoic expression, but if you look closely you can see one of his eyebrows twitching. He brings a gloved hand up to his mouth and clears his throat, trying to structure his thoughts. "Well... I first met him when I had received a call about a young man responsible for several crimes. Not necessarily my department, but I suppose you could say I was doing a favor for a certain other officer. After checking on him for a few days, I realized he just had an astonishing string of bad luck. That along with his addiction to oranges, I felt the need to look after him for a while, and as those days passed, I developed feelings for him.
"He's just so... average. Does that make sense? He doesn't pretend to be something he's not, and there's no deeper meaning to him. I suppose.... I suppose I almost envy that about him, and when I'm around him, I can feel like I'm... normal."
"So, this Minah friend of yours. When did you become good friends and allies with each other? Do you still have that strong of a friendship to this day?"

"Well, you have to consider that both me and Tomoko are outsiders of our groups. Tomoko, I know personally, is not the evil slash-and-burn sort of demon where their only goal is to destroy stuff. That might be because Tomoko was human himself once, but it's speculation at this point. I, myself, never really fully committed to being a stereotypical "angel", so I'm rather seen as an outcast as well." Ammerie was starting to get tired of all the explaining she was doing. She personally had no idea if her words were getting to them or not.
"With the saying "opposites attract" and also the fact that we're both outsiders, and it's really no wonder how we became friends so quickly."
"How do you get along with your brothers! It must be nice having two! Or maybe not? I guess it would depend on the brothers. You're lucky that you're the youngest though. Must be nice not to have as much responsibility."

"You're right! Me and Roxie do get along really well! So much that...I can't really think of anything we disagree on." The star ranger stopped to think, rocking back and forth on his heels. He then points triumphantly. "I've got it! Me and Roxie are both embarrassed about our preteen years and how we were obnoxious anime fans, but instead of burying it and pretending it never happened, Roxie likes to embrace it. Can you believe that?" He chuckles incredulously. "So we're always arguing about which internet fads from that time should come back. I think it'd be better for everyone if we all left it in the past. She..." he laughs, "She doesn't and she likes to torment me." Leon shrugs, having finished his explanation. "I guess if that's our only gripe with each other, we're pretty good friends!"
"I see you seem to be on friendly terms with Roxie. Are there any times where the two of you just can't seem to get along? What was the worst situation the two of you have been in argument-wise?"

“Although Heian’s mirror techniques are deemed useful, I do not believe they provide any real merit for four deities with considerable powers. In fact, I suspect those fools simply wish to create more unnecessary chit-chat about our family.
I dont believe Heian has seen the full extent of my powers, but she has seen them become molded over time through our familys brutal training. In the past, it never stopped her from anything. Im not sure what she would think of it now, but her opinion on the matter has yet to make a difference on the world we live in.”
"Oioi! So ya said ya had a sister? Heian, right?
Ya said ya didn't want her involved in deity affairs! So... how ya think she'd react if she saw yer dark powers in full view? Woul'dja be worried about yer relationship takin' a bad turn?"
"Heheh! There are too many ta' count! But if I had ta' choose... it would prolly be when we first met! I remember cryin' and stuff. I was sad about not havin' a family like everyone else. But Rogar came up ta' me and told me I could share his dad! He gave me his hand, I remember us havin' a lotta fun together. We played and then ate lunch. That day lifted my spirits."
"Childhood friends, huh? That's cute. What's your favorite childhood memory of you and Rogar?"
"Why won't you just admit that you and Haggis are a couple? You guys look cute together. Are you afraid of commitment or do you not want Haggis as a boyfriend or do you not want to be tied down? I've heard open relationships are a thing, especially on the road!"
"Well, both of us want to keep it casual. I don't think I'm much of the boyfriend type, and if we're already allowed to see other people, what does it matter if it's called an open relationship or not?"
But his brow crinkles slightly in tired annoyance, like this is something he's thought about often himself. "Look, he says it would screw up the band if the others knew about us, so I had to promise it was no strings attached. Feels like there are a lot of strings anyway, but I'm not in the business of arguing with a good thing."
